"This trip to PR was a solo for me. It was a little scary at night. However, once in my little cabin, I was fine. I was not able to stay outside on the hammock at night because there was a gym that seems to be used by locals and there was a lot of traffic up and down to it. A few pick up trucks that came up by the cabins had me on edge. I think the outdoor lighting could be better. The property was quiet and peaceful during the day. I was able to walk around, there were horse stables and sheep, dogs and ducks (in fencing) along with a few roosters which roamed free. The animal noises did not bother me. Enjoying coffee outside in the mornings was wonderful with the sounds of all different birds. I only went down to the pool once but it was cloudy so I didn’t use it. The cabin had good air conditioning, a tv that had many programs to use, a coffee maker and small fridge. A microwave would’ve been great to reheat foods. But that was not in my room. My coffeemaker was dirty- so I only used the heating plate to heat water and made instant coffee. I didn’t get to go to the restaurant or do breakfast any days (not a morning person). The grounds are great for families. It was peaceful on my solo trip which is what I needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, however, I didn’t know who we could contact when things weren’t working or when a loud truck would come by during the night (startled me at 1am). I don’t know if it was grounds security. Overall good stay."
"This is a very nice resort. We came with our family.
I would not say it was a family, friendly resort, but that’s exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a quiet all-inclusive resorts, and this is that.
Don’t get me wrong, they do have a smaller, waiting pool, animals to look at, and like a little play yard towards the back for kids to enjoy. But overall, this is not meant for children.
I would say that the property is rather small, quaint, and quiet. It is definitely off a beaten path. Our package included food and drinks, which wasnice. But I wouldn’t say great. We did not love the food options. We did have a rental car, which was nice, because that allowed us to go up the road towards the little supermarket. We were able to get some snack snacks and even a fresh hot pizza. There was dogs running around, which my family loved! The staff was friendly. The resort was very clean.
The room was perfect for our needs. There was a master bedroom, a room for the kids, one of my kids ended up sleeping on the couch in the living area. There is a TV on the wall, but there is no Internet or cable to make the TV work. They only gave us four towels for our entire stay, for a family of five. There was body wash, shampoo and conditioner on the wall, in the bathroom, but nothing for the actual sink to wash hands. I brought soap from home. A fridge and a cook top but no utensils or plates. We had a front porch and were near the pool, listening to the music that played all day."
"The view is incredible and the convenience of having multiple restaurants and the beach within walking distance is phenomenal!!! The location is absolutely wonderful. However, the pictures online are a liklittle deceiving. The property looks a bit worn down. The room we were given was very basic. The furniture needs an upgrade. There were absolutely no hooks in the bathroom to hang up the towels or toiletry bags. We are only given one towel each which meant we had to ask for replacements regularly. There was only one mirror in the bathroom (only one mirror in the entire room actually) which made it impossible to get ready quickly. There was no full body mirror in the room which would have been very convenient since the walls are basically bare. I truly appreciate the walk in closet with shelves. This helped us keep the room looking neat and organized. The room had no iron, ironing board, or hair dryer. I feel that these basic amenities are super important and convenient. Good thing I brought a travel iron just in case! Although we were not thrilled with the room, we will consider staying here again. The staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Hopefully in the future the rooms are upgraded especially for the price we paid. To be fair I do not know if all the rooms are the same but they definitely need some improvements."
