Spacious seaview room

Tatami room was very spacious and we could even enjoy seaview. Friendly staff. extensive breakfast buffet. walking distance from pier, etc.

Great hotel Great area

The hotel was great and in one of the most beautiful areas of Japan. If you like Onsen this place is great. Also breakfast was amazing.

It's a tranquil place. Everything is perfect - the only negative is some peeling wallpaper in the rooms, but that's nitpicking. It's a large room within walking distance of the station and the museums.

It located on a hill, about 15-20 mins walk from Matsushimakaigan Station. Along the way, you find shops & restaurants. There’s a ferry pier & a park, temples & a museum. You can also walk from Matsushima Station, however, I prefer Matsushimakaigan as there’re more to see. The hotel offers free shuttle pick up & drop off which is a plus.

I liked the traditional experience but the room needs some cosmetic maintenance. Touching up the paint and repairing a little of the wooden skirting. You DO need to pre-book for dinner, but e we found a great little place just a short walk away in the town.

客室の洗面の水道からひどいサビが出る。 チェックアウト時に伝えるも「申し訳ございません」と言われるのみ。全ての代金をこちらは支払っているが、このような酷いサービス、客室でも、契約を履行したと考えているのだろうか。 建物全体はもちろん、何より客室がひどくボロい。古いだけでなく、手入れがされておらず、ボロい。詳細は画像を見て欲しい。 日本三景という立地に完全に甘え、やるべき投資を怠り、客の期待を裏切るひどい宿泊施設。 せっかくの旅行だから、と全国展開している他の宿ではなく、あえて値段も高いこちらを選んで完全に失敗した。 あまりに気分が落ち込み、松島での観光の予定を取り止め、中尊寺金色堂へ向かったほど。2度と松島には足を踏み入れたくない。

全てにおいて不便なく、贅沢な宿泊をさせていただきました。 建物は伝統があり、少し古さも感じられますが、内装も綺麗にリフォームされておるようで、大浴場も清潔感があります。 屋上で松島ビューが観られます。 食事は、夜は提携レストラン、朝は館内レストランのビュッフェをいただきました。提携レストランは、チェックイン時に申し出れば予約とクルマでの送迎をしてくださいます。松島自慢の美味しい食材を使ったご飯を、味、量、金額全てにおいて満足にいただけます。宿泊でなくとも使えそうなので、松島再訪の折にはランチも食べてみたいです。 朝食ビュッフェも、地元食材をふんだんに使った美味しいお料理の数々。 温泉は人工ですが、露天風呂の温度も丁度よく、朝晩2回浸かっちゃいました。 チェックインからアウトまで、スタッフの皆様おもてなしが大変行き届いており、泊まって良かったです。

Leicht ins Alter gekommen, aber sehr freundlich

Schöne Aussicht über die Bucht. Das Hotelzimmer war klassisch japanisch (Tatami/Futon). Insgesamt ist das Hotel leicht etwas ins Alter gekommen. Das Zimmer war aber sehr gross. Wer Angst vor einem Tsunami hat, das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe. Japanisch/westliches, reichhaltiges Frühstück! Es hat einen Axolotl im Eingangsraum im Aquarium!

JR松島駅からちょっと登りますが、近くて便利です。徒歩10分程度で五大堂、瑞巌寺と観光名所に到達出来ます。宿の向いの展望スポット、ぶらタモリで紹介されました。登りきついですが、良い眺めです。

グループでも広く感じる部屋でした。 照明が一部足りなくて、暗いというよりは陰気な印象でした。壁紙が一部ボコボコになっていたり、古さは感じましたが、サービスはアップグレードされていて快適でした。 浴用タオル、バスタオルの他にトイレや洗面所用に、もう二枚タオルを用意して欲しかった。ハンドタオルでもいい。大浴場は清潔で風呂の種類も多く楽しめました。アメニティは豊富でしたが、クレンジングは洗い場にはなかったので、洗い場にも少しあったら良かった。 朝食は種類は少なめでしたが、美味しかったです。ご飯と味噌汁以外は冷めてました。 いつでもスタッフの方々の対応が丁寧でした。
