"I stayed overnight and enjoyed a very good dinner, a satisfactory continental breakfast and a well-organised and varied buffet lunch (for a funeral party). I would stay at the Oakhill again if I needed to spend time in that neighbourhood."

"Hotel is a nice building (set of buildings) in a gorgeous, quiet village (other than the hotel / bar). Our room was over the bar and whilst there was some noise, it wasn’t too loud. The bedrooms are good rather than stunning and have a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, nice biscuits and fresh milk (hooray). Our room had a shower but no bath. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and professional. We were happy with the stay, but left feeling it was a bit expensive for what it was."
