"Here is a breakdown of our stay checking in July 9, 2025 checking out July 10, 2025- original booking on Expedia.com- Positives- Check in- the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming- however told us that we could not pay with credit card, but we said that we needed to checkout at 05:00 am the following morning due to a relative being in the hospital. She agreed to follow up with the owner to confirm. She led us to our cabin, and I turned on the air to get it cool- as we were going to spend time on the beach- in the pool- and in the restaurant. Figured in a couple of hours the room would be cool. The room looked amazing, and for the $215 $3500MXN) a night I figured it was good value. Location/ atmosphere- The only thing I can say is wow! Amazing location, amazing grounds, the vibe is amazing. They have everything decorated to theme, and it is amazing just to sit and soak it all in. Good public restrooms, great bar area, friendly and attentive staff. After beach time, we opted to eat- we ordered the coconut shrimp and the shrimp a la diabla. Both were huge portions and delicious!!! I was leary as many other reviews were very critical of the food, however we absolutely loved it!!! We could pay dinner on credit card- but not the room? Pool- very relaxing!!! Great size and deep enough to really get your relax on!!! Clean and the views over the ocean were spectacular! Negatives- Returned to our room to find that the power was off- and the room was hot. Went to the front d"

"It is a very quiet and quaint hotel with the Mexican vibe. The staff were super friendly. The location was maybe 10 minute walk to the town square. Very nice."

"Staff is fantastic. It's a peaceful location right on the estuary. The pool area is clean and the room is comfortable. The pillows are quite hard for my taste, but everyone is different. The room has access to bottled water has an in-room coffee maker and Netflix. There is a dirt road leading up to the property. There is hardly any traffic past the hotel. The front desk suggested we put our motorcycle in the locked lot at night."
