"I would not recommend staying at Quality Inn Mason Near Kings Island. I booked the property through Expedia for a multiple night stay. We flew in on a redeye and checked into the hotel. Being a non-smoking property, the first thing we noticed was a individual smoking outside our room pacing back and forth. You know the type that makes you feel uneasy. This went on for a good 30 minutes. Once I entered the room, I noticed the primary light didnt work. I tried the switch, expected the light and had no luck making it work. I proceeded to bring in my bags, went into the bathroom to wash my hands found the soap on top of the plastic wrapper, already used. Okay, kinda a cleanliness issue that bugged my wife but I continued to settle. My wife was very tired so she laid on the bed to rest. I knew we needed to leave soon so I checked on the alarm clock to set it. It didnt work. Now I am beginning to get annoyed about the quality of the place. I thought I'd get some coffee while my wife slept. This is when I found the coffee maker was absolutely disgusting. The microwave kept beeping every 5 minutes or so. This is when I went upto the office and asked to cancel the reservation and leave. The office manager asked why, I started detailing the issues. He told me I had to pay for 3 of the 5 nights. I was shocked. He said it was because of how I booked it. Major strike against Expedia. Manager did step it down to 1 night. Later I found they charged my card 6 nights and deposit. "

"The breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The staff (with the exception of the African American lady) were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and inviting. My family and I enjoyed our stay. We will definitely book/stay again next year when we’re back in Ohio for Nationals!"

"Rude customer service and when I took the broken microwave to the front desk to receive a different one, I was screamed at and told they'd be charging me for a new microwave. Manager was shocked and threatening to kick us out for having the number of occupants allowed with our kids in one room.. a room advertised as a sleeps 5. Breakfast is pathetic, coffee isn't refilled. "

"Could not even get breakfast. To many people were waiting on waffles. Then sign said do not take food to room. Well I have a autistic son and we prefer to eat where he is comfortable. The area to eat was just to crammed. So we wouldn't eat there. Then the place smelled like weed. So disgusting. Definitely the first hotel I have stayed in and would not do it again. I understood I got the most affordable but was not satisfied. And no coffee pot in the room. First place I have been to without coffee in room. "

"Room was very clean. Wood floors and rolling desk chair makes for a lot of noise from upper floors. Hotel was sold out but I would suggest 4th floor room if you can get it. "

"They pool needs a good cleaning , not just chlorine tablets throw in it, needs emptied out in a good scrubbing the water looks green"

"I couldn't say enough on how beautiful, warm, clean, quiet, easy check-in and check out process. My kids didn't want to leave. Everything was great, fridge, lights, stove, dish washer, beds (the best) bathroom. Everything was great, and the space we very well used. Center location to everything you would need. "
