We arrived right at the posted check in time and there was no one at reception and no one answered the phone number that was posted on the door. "We had read previous comments about the service or the owner’s attitude at this hotel, but our experience was entirely different. It’s important to remember that this is a small business run by a couple, and sometimes reviews don’t reflect the full picture. We stayed here for a week and found everything to our liking. The atmosphere was warm, the accommodation super comfortable, and the setting ideal for a relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will certainly be returning."

"most beautiful place where we have ever stayed !! the rooms were huge and the restaurant was the best we have had all in europe! There is a private court yard and it is a beautiful castle in a quiet little town. This is family owned and they are very nice ,sweet and hospitable. This will be our best kept fairy tale when we come back next year and for years to come. Makes us feel like royalty and the bathrobes and slippers and all the extra towels highly recommend this !!"
