"We weren't expecting much given it only cost €64 for our room but the room was super and the hotel quite modern with an Indian restaurant onsite at the lower level."

"Loved this property. Staff were so helpful. Beautiful village."

"Very friendly hotel near the station. Good cycle parking"

"Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff"

"Change of proprietary... garden in disarray, restaurant to be rebuilt, rooms clean and ok. But nothing like the photos on your site - do you check the situation before advertising? New owners very nice and friendly but the place at the moment does not answer to the standards, so consequently we paid too much!"

"Very pleasant stay in a very hot period of weather. Small fan in the bedroom helped."

"Rooms are small. Shower has hot water, WiFi works well. Lovely breakfast for 10 euros."

"Zamek jest pięknym starym zamkiem w pięknym parku, a dwa psy myśliwskie robią jeszcze bardziej zamkowy klimat! Miejsce godne polecenia!"

"A gem of a place for a birthday overnight stay. Laurent and Bruno were exceptionally warm and welcoming and our son was delighted that his bedroom had the beautiful view of the Chateau Gaillard! Seizing the moment early Sunday morning to look at the respective views whilst reading, we knew we would like to return for longer. The best breakfast on Sunday morning made it hard to leave. Thank you!!"

"Beautiful facility. This place is very special! We really enjoyed our stay."

"We arrived later than planned and had good communication with the site via emails. Great accommodation for families with the use of a kitchen and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I had to make the beds up when we got there and there were no towels although shown in the photo. The pool facility is great but as with most french swimming pools they have strict regulations. My children loved the animals. We only used for a 1 night stop over which suited our needs. "

"This is an unbelievable place to stay - such an experience!!!! Totally stunning setting and wonderful hosts.Highly recommend."

"A real gem and unique stay. The kitchen and bathroom building make this a wonderful place to use as a base. Highly rated "

"This property is in a quaint part of the city within easy walking to the inner city. Clean and quiet. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom was clean"

"Excellent hotel, very friendly host."

"I think you would describe this hotel as rustic. Perfectly serviceable and comfortable enough, but somewhat run down. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great."

"Beautiful magical place and great food as well."

"In 40 years holidaying I can honestly say Hotel Diligence is one of the best that my wife Anne and I have stayed at. The furnishing are beautiful/comfortable bed/ lots of little Knick Knacks to make our stay even more enjoyable. and a very good breakfast. I whole heartedly recommend staying there"

"Very helpful friendly owners Allowed us to check in early as we were exhausted from a long flight to get there. The breakfast was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The stone building and walled in grounds give off that old French charm. Would highly recommend this stay"
