A light and airy modern hotel with beautiful views from the restaurant and bar terrace area. The room was quiet and clean with everything we needed. Car charging is available at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice.

Visited Marstrand for a family wedding. Stayed at Havshotel Marstrand. Great hotel with a really nice bar area overlooking the harbour. Close to the ferry and plenty of parking however there is a daily charge. The room was very small considering we booked for two adults and one child however the staff were excellent and very helpful.

We wish we could have stayed here longer! Everyone - from the front desk to the restaurant - was so pleasant and welcoming. Despite the weather, we enjoyed walking around the property and local area, and then feasted on a superb dinner. The breakfast buffet is exceptional!

The property is very easy to get to and right next door to a quick ferry over to the island. Parking is just across the street. The spa is wonderful!

Marstrand på et bra hotell

Flott hotell hvor man må ha utsikt mot havnen for å få det beste ut av det. Havrom med fin utsikt og hotellet har nydelig frokost. Rommen smart møblerte med havutsikt fra sengen.

Inte som förväntat eller önskat.

Formidabelt läge, för de som har utsikt mot havet eller Marstrandsön. Det hade vi inte vi (för vi reste med hund och erbjöds därför inte något sådant rum, oavsett pris). Trevlig personal generellt. Vi testade inte spa-anläggningen, därför ingen kommentar om denna. "Hotell-frukosten" var förvånansvärt trist och dåligt arrangerad, särskilt för oss med hund som fick springa "långa" sträckor från den plats UTANFÖR restaurangen där i fick vara till den redan mycket utspridda frukostbuffén. Extra märkligt var att frukosten stängde redan kl 09:30 (vilket under semestertider upplevs tidigt) och att de punktligt började plocka bort all mat exakt på minuten... På sin höjd ett nja, är vår samlade bedömning av Marstrands Havshotell, trots sitt suberba läge med utsikt just över Marstrand (om man bor i rätt rum vill säga).

Weekendtur

Flott hotell, rent og pent. Nydelig frokost! Litt misvisende info angående bruk av badebasseng. Står jo hotell med basseng m.m., og bestill gjerne spa, da går man utfra at det gjelder behandlinger, men det gjaldt også bruk av bassenget. 395,- pr. pers koster det å ta en tur i bassengene. Marstrand er en nydelig plass, båt til øya og festningen går hele døgnet. Kr. 40,- t/r. Fine muligheter for bad og mange resturanger, spesielt ute på øya. Hamnkrogen på hotellsiden er også å anbefale!

Fantastiskt läge men slitna smutsiga rum

Fantastiskt fint läge alldeles vid havet med närhet till färjan. Resturangen har mycket god mat, och har utsikt över hela Marstrandsön och hamnen, jättefint. Frukostbuffén är nog den godaste jag ätit någonsin. Vänlig personal. Det enda som inte höll måttet var rummen, sängarna och städningen. Vi bodde i den äldre delen och både inredning och rumsstandard var väldigt nedsliten. Urdåligt städade. Under sängarna ett tjockt lager damm! Nerliggna sängar, mjuka som hängmattor. Tycker ändå att man kan förvänta sig mer med tanke på vad hotellet kostar. Tillgång till spa-avdelningen ingår heller inte i priset. Det kostar då ytterligare 400 per person för 2,5 timmars spa och då får man en slot-tid. Vi valde bort spa.
