An average property but would not visit again. Food is buffet only & not much choice. Restaurant is not an enjoyable place as you spend half your time trying to find a clean table thats free. There is an a la carte but its not part of the all inclusive. I did dine there one night & it was much better than the restaurant but at a cost of £60. Day & night entertainment is all in French. Generally the whole resort could also do with a refresh as the rooms & grounds are tired.

This was a 3 night trip with my family, 2 children. The hotel is about 30-35min from the airport and city centre. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the main square few times a day see attached at a fee. Taxi charge over 200MAD for the same trip. But you can also use the InDrive app to book a car, although most taxis say they are illegal, they are a registered company in Morocco and InDrive drivers pay for a registration through the bank officially to get access to the app. They charge about a third of the price of official taxis. The hotel is in a very good condition. They offer food all day even if you miss the breakfast time you can still grab a bite by the pool if you are all inclusive. Good room service, staff very helpful. Phone did not work in room but we did not need it. indoor pool is available at the Atlas hotel by the front of the property which is the premium brand. Few minutes walk away from the reception of valeria madinah. Food service is good. Worth the price tag. There are no shops accessible within walking distance but compared to the city centre it is very quiet and peaceful. The views are amazing- from oue balcony it was the Atlas mountains.

Our flight was delayed. so checked in one day late. Our room was not ready on arrival despite checking in late. We were given a room but in block 8 which was less convenient for access. Variety of food available, however could do with more seasoning. Due to the restaurant being open (doors open), lots of flies, and also birds within restaurant. Need more protection on food, especially fruit and any uncovered food. Beds were comfortable but rooms need updating, quite dated. Rooms need more light too. No remote with TV (didn't raise with reception as only staying for a few days). When trying to contact reception from room, calls not always answered. Couldn't get room service either. Initially advised by reception that a a taxi would be arranged from hotel to airport when we were leaving on 6th November. However had to get taxi from outside the resort. Prices varied. From airport to hotel, cost was 200dhms From hotel to airport, cost was initially offered at 300 dhms then dropped to 250 dhms

It was a very disastrous stay, the wifi quality is poor, the breakfast lunch and diner are not diversified and I think they customized it for low end people (people that they never visited hotels or they are there only because they are part of group).

Honest review. The checkin process was smooth and staff was polite and helpful. Staff Bahija have us a very spacious and comfortable room. Room was good. Not very posh but practical with 3 beds and separate toilet and bathroom. Fridge was available in the bedroom. Food was all inclusive and there was plenty of choice from breakfast to dinner. The only reservation for me was deserts area where mainly available options are cakes ad pastries. There should be choices of cooked deserts like local delicacies. Loads of drink options from juices, soft drinks and hot drinks. My best pick was moroccon tea. Plenty of activities through out the day and they are good. The only caviat is language (mainly in French) so people may find it less appealing. Aqua park is a must go. It is included in price and is a very well kept and safe area. Overall money worth it. Thanks to staff Bahija, Yahya for their support during our stay.

Solo trip
From the moment I arrived at the check in I felt very welcome. The receptionist suggested to me to head to the restaurant to have lunch first as it would close shortly. The formality took just few mins my room was clean and a welcome key ring as well. Food local red wine and service were all great. Overall it was a relaxing winter sun holiday I didn't have to leave the resort as good choices and entertainment were plenty and variety was good. Highly recommend

No information at check in about facilities. No one really speaks english and most interaction's with staff were very disappointing. Excursions offered are only for french speaking clients. No alternative offered for . Wifi is not available in rooms and very limited English speaking tv(only bbc world news) so little to do.

The hotel is friendly and clean
The hotel was fantastic. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. There was so much choice for food that even my vegan friend had loads to choose from. Aqua aerobics, dancing lessons, yogo and much more entertainment going on. Yes, there are lots of French and staff mainly spoke French but we were spoken to in English, so no problems for us.

very poor first impression
Arrived at the hotel and approached reception and we were asked to wait as the manager would come and see us. Twenty minutes later we are still sitting there. I talk to reception again and they eventually get the manager. He tells us there is a problem with our room but is very vague about what the issue is , mentions overbooking and maintenance issues. We then wait forty minutes more to be put on a mini bus to another hotel. Due to lack of information from the hotel manager this is the wrong hotel and after further emails and calls we are taken to a third hotel where again there is a lot of miscommunication. We noted that everyone in our original hotel appeared to be French and we seemed to be the only English people and the only people moved elsewhere. Our new hotel was far superior newer and with more professional employees. I would not recommend this hotel we felt very poorly treated. Go to the Be Live Hotel group instead!

It was an okay hotel but I would definitely not stay there again. It was too far from town making it expensive to travel by taxi to town, luckily there was a hotel shuttle which was more affordable like £4 return journey. Room was smaller than expected Room phone not working and was only changed after 2 days No internet access in rooms but communal areas Bugs in room and needed daily spraying Bed sheets not changed daily Everything was in French including signs and TV channels Expensive Spa access

Rubbish hotel, only speak french and poor service
Terrible standard of room, broken toilet flush, flies everywhere, only cater for french visitors, service is very poor, receptionists very rude and unhelpful.

lovely hotel and a great selection of activities
lovely all inclusive resort, enjoyed the exercise classes with Catalina, a brilliant instructor. Reception staff very helpful and speak some English, enough for me to converse with them and still have the authenticity of the country:) The restaurant staff were very helpful as I have a nut allergy and were happy to let me know what I can eat, which was most of the food :) A good surprise, as I usually find it difficult to eat abroad. Variety of lovely dishes!

Lovely hotel, shame hardly anyone spoke English
Probably my fault for not researching properly but the lack of English was frustrating. Staff who spoke English were really helpful but I was disappointed when after already booking on an excertion was told there wouldn’t be any English during the tour. Luckily the guide was fantastic and gave me a private English explanation. The hotel in general was beautiful & clean and the food fantastic.

Nice if you want to get away and relax
Nice hotel to get away and relax which is all we wanted,around 90% of guests were French speaking which was fine with us and they were very friendly. Only issue was we had a cockroach sneak in our room under the door which my girlfriend hated and I had to hunt around the room until I killed it. Apart from that all good, tip a little bit to the bar staff and you will see the service improve massively.

Welcoming reception staff
This is a good place with kind staff. However, in winter time some of the rooms are cold but the staff will always be there if you ask them to change the room. Rooms are big and clean and comfortable make sure you have slippers because all floors are cold since they are ceramic so be-careful.

Great short stay in November for a British Couple
After reading the reviews, I was glad I took my French phrase book - it came in to be very helpful. This was a short break for us (4 nights) in Nov 2016, taking advantage of cheap Easyjet flights. We had emailed the hotel in advance to arrange a transfer from the airport (400 mMAD/€400). Our flight arrived early, but took 2 hours to get through customs due to a local government conference. We arrived at the complex around 9.30pm, we had a friendly welcome then shown to our room (# 421) given our all inclusive wrist bands & had a couple of drinks in the bar area before sleep time (wine, spirits & beer included)! Bed was huge, the room spacious & there is a tv, fridge, safe, hairdryer & a few complimentary bathroom items as well as water. There is a walk in shower & the toilet is in it's own room. It was comfortable & fairly clean - there were a few ants. Next morning we headed down to breakfast - the dining hall is quite large with a central serving area. The breakfasts were continental with hot pancakes, sausages & eggs, freshly made omelettes, plus queues for the hot drinks machines! There were a few birds fluttering around as per other reviews! Lunch was varied with salads, hot & cold dishes, breads & deserts (dinner similar) but plenty to choose from & varied each day (although 4 days was enough). We had 1 day of rain, but weather still warm & sunbathable, would recommend for a couple, but wouldn't take UK kids as totally French - evening entertainment etc

Nice time spent in marrakech
Good hotel with the marrocan touch but not kept within great conditions, good facilities and everything great to spend a good time. As a couple only able to speak english, we found staff that could comunicate in english but all the events in the hotel during the day like classes and animations were all in french so we kind of stayed on the side of it. The room was cleaned and floor washed everyday. The towels were also changed everyday but we stayed for 7 nights and the sheets were not changed once which I think that for a 4 stars hotel is not apropriate. The staff were helpfull and with a twin bed room they changed in a blink to a double bed room upon request. Regarding the check out they did not allow us to stay in the room for longer and asked us to vacate the room on time because they were expecting someone there but they allow us to stay in the hotel and kept the luggage which was nice since our flight was at night and we could enjoy the pool in the afternoon and this is something we really appreciated. Overall was a good experience and a nice stay, we made an effort with the french and they also did with the english which we were not expecting due to the reviews in here but was a nice improvement. Pool great, sun great, good food throughout the whole day and even with no drinks in the room fridge we always asked for water which is bottled and kept one cold all the time in there.

I stayed for 10 nights at Club Madina and encountered a lot of problems. On arrival around 8pm, the night time receptionist was very dismissive and unhelpful. I was given a room key pointed to huge site map and told to find my room. Later on that evening I found that the air con in my room was broken ( it was roughly 40 degrees), the fridge was not working, the window was broken and the balcony door had no lock. After hardly any sleep I noticed that there was ants all over my room and in my bed! I called reception and was told to call back at 7am. When going back to the reception at 7am, the receptionist spoke very little English and told to come back at 10am. I was then given x2 other times to return to reception until my room was finally changed by 12:30pm, to a better room but the balcony door still had no lock. There were some staff that were very helpful but some that just did not seem to care at all. The hotel language is French and even though a few staff members tried very hard to interact with me in English, the majority did not care. Also all activities, entertainment, TV and excursions are in French, so if you do not know the language it can be quite alienating at times. The hotels appearance is quite dated, old and shabby in all honestly I do not think it is worth the money I paid. There were gems, ie ladies on reception and some dinner staff but on the whole, the holiday was not enjoyable. 1 note, there is no 'adult' pool and the indoor pool is chargeable.

This hotel was very disappointing to say the least. We had read other reviews on this hotel but decided to give it a try as it had some good points on the reviews. On checking in there was no information given to us at all about the complex, meal times, no phone instructions, no wifi info and no emergency info either. If you can speak and read French, then this hotel might suit you, if you cant, then don't bother. All menus, notices and instructions are in French. Lots to do around the pool but if you don't speak the lingo, don't bother.... I'm sure you get the picture. The staff do not speak English either, just the odd phrase like " I like your accent" which translates to "can I have a tip" The food is the same every lunch time & every night with the exception of one main course may differ and if you do not like peppers, onions or olives, you will live on chips and bread cos even the salad had olives & peppers in. I felt as though because we were English ( the only ones) we were treated like we were less important, no attempt was made to accommodate or communicate with us at all. We missed out on quite a lot of entertainment as we couldn't understand the notices or announcements but when we asked staff what was said etc we were just shrugged at. Such a shame because the pool was nice and other bits within the complex were nice just a shame we didn't get to use it all.

Very average
Food choices are ok'ish but there is a long gap between lunch and dinner in which you only have the option of vegetables or sugary snacks. The choices bounce between bland or unhealthy throughout. The lounge is covered in bird droppings and there seems to be a general issue with availability of towels. Other than that, everything else is OK. It really helps to know some French and accept that the staff are better than you and will sneer scowl and sulk if you have the audacity of asking them to get you something. It seems to hurt their pride (not all but enough of them for me to comment).

English in a French hotel
The food was really great, the hotel was French speaking with all French people staying, that was fine for us as we did not join in with the entertainment. On arrival we were told to check in at 12 which we did to be told the was no room at the hotel and we would have to stay in their slightly smaller Stister hotel just a very short walk away in the same complex. As we went to grab our luggage we were told that the hotel would transport it for us. Nearly four hours later and three trips to the front desk we received our luggage this spoiled our first day and on complaining to the front desk the reaction was shrugged shoulders and a smile. After two days we moved to our original hotel which was much nicer. Much bigger with a fridge and nice view.

Great hotel
Stayed for five nights and cannot fault it. Food was amazing, grounds very beautiful, staff lovely. Only problem was I don't speak French and no English spoken so didn't know a lot that was going on but we managed.
