It was an amazing stay! They asked what we wanted for breakfast, and it tasted so good! The bed was comfortable and Clean, the sheets were so soft! The room was very nice!! The only thing - is that it gets humide in the room, its an old building so maybe the ventilation system isnt as good, but we could use the air condition freely which was amazing!

The property was so beautiful. We loved our whole stay it was such a warm welcome and each day we were met with so much kindness from the staff. I am gluten free and was well taken care of at breakfast- they were excellent at ensuring I ate safely and well. The location is fantastic, so easy to get to all the great sights of the city. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, though particularly at breakfast time they were often severely understaffed, with many people having to wait a long time to order breakfast. The breakfast itself was standard, some eggs cooked to your choosing, with some bread and jam/ honey. We were a little disappointed with this. The biggest disappointment was our room - it was on the ground floor and as such denied us any privacy, as in the morning people were having breakfast directly outside our door/ window and a couple even mistook it for a common space, opening our door while we were inside. It also had no rack to dry towels, so as soon as we had used our towels, they would remain wet. We asked twice that our room be cleaned and the towels changed, which unfortunately did not happen, despite leaving our key with the reception. One evening after a workout, I decided to go in the pool at the centre of the Riad, and quickly realised that I had disturbed quite a lot of sediment at the bottom of the pool and that the water was very dirty and so I immediately got out. At this stage I feel I must say that the two gentlemen running the Riad were extremely helpful, personable and kind, and that they went above and beyond to book us taxis and a massage, and to replace our towels and wash our clothes when asked, but overall we had high expectations of staying in a luxurious Riad, and though the design and decoration of the Riad are beautiful, these expectations were not met.

Fabulous New Year Getaway

We spent four nights at this wonderful Riad, with our six year old son. The team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The Riad is gorgeous, immaculate and so cosy for winter. Our room was stunning, and very comfortable. With ample room for the three of us. Breakfast was delicious, simple and filling. Artisan breads, coffee, fresh juice and local cakes. The little New Year gifts for all three of us, was a lovely surprise and one we will cherish. We can't wait to come back!

I liked the Hotel. It is the same as in the pictures. Khalil, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. The rooms and the bathroom were very comfortable, and the AC was perfect. The only issue I had was when I arrived at the hotel from the airport. The hotel is located in a pedestrian zone, so taxis from the airport don't leave you on the doorstep. Communication with the taxi driver was limited due to language barriers, and his instructions to get to the hotel were very unclear. I had to talk to three random people asking for help to get to the hotel. (I didn't have internet on my phone; maps would have helped. So keep that in mind) Overall, the hotel experience was very pleasant and comfortable.
