This was a lovely location and setting. Quite a unique place. Our room was exceptional and comfortable. Nice breakfast room. I would have liked to have an extra day to enjoy property. The new hot tub will be a good addition.

It was definitely a unique place too stay, lots of wildlife as the sun set, it’s definitely not your typical city hotel as it’s fairly remote with a historic vibe on a farm type setting. The room was clean and the staff was excellent even fixing us a fresh hot breakfast.

Very unique and beautiful lodging. Set up like a bed and breakfast. Hot breakfast cooked to order. Each room is decorated with a theme, ours was China. The location has a massive library. Situated within a working farm.

Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast is included and was nice. We had a hiccup and our room wasn't ready and staff didnt realize. They were super apologetic and everything worked out fine. Warning: this is 30 minutes from everywhere and although they advertise dinner is available it's not. I was told the web site wasn't updated. Wifi also wasn't updated. Its only available in a few rooms of the main building. An employee let me join his Hotspot so I could download a map to get home! Very peaceful and beautiful area. Easy to find.

It is located in the country. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Since it is run by a private family, I would recommend calling ahead if you are going to arrive late. There were walking trails, and farm animals to look at. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, Breakfast was very good.

Wonderful charming inn inside the quiet zone of greenbank national observatory. They have nice hiking trails, nice game room and a library that would make belle from beauty and the beast cry with joy. Staff was wonderful & friendly. The food offered was great. The rooms themselves are theme based (we had dinner there but left before breakfast was available), we had the universe room, clean, charming and very cool. We're definitely going to stay there again when we are back in the area.

This is a very quaint property tucked into the West Virginia countryside. I stayed there while visiting the state fair in Lewisburg. It is about an hour and fifteen minutes away, but worth the drive because inns are hard to find that are closer during the fair. There is a lot to do in the area around the property in its own right! Cass Railroad is less than a half hour away and so is the Green Bank Observatory. The latter is a surprising find in the region for space enthusiasts.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms were clean and themed. The couple running it were super friendly and accommodating. The area around it was beautiful! If you don’t have satellite on your phone there is no service and it’s amazing. There was wifi in the library if you needed it and you could hard wire in the rooms. We look forward to hopefully being about to stay here again in the future. It’s only a 20 minute drive to the Cass Railroad and is a great place to stay near it!

They were not open for us. Why didn't you know it had not been used in weeks? So vacation was terrible with no place to stay. Lodging in this area is very hit and miss. Turn charges in to CC company and they will be contacting you about this horrible experience.
