"Hello, Stayed 2 nights in the compact full room upstairs. It is newly renovated and I was the 1st guest. There was plenty of room for me to move around comfortably. The lighting was sufficient and the window provided enough natural light. There were sufficient number of hangers. Bed was firm and comfortable and the comforter was very warm on the 1st night and just right on the 2nd night when it was colder. There was a extra heavier blanket that was good for the 1st night. The bathroom is on the smaller side and is as shown in the photos. It is enough to use it for what it is needed for. Plenty of hot water and towels. The room opened to the outdoor patio which has a nice view and would have made for a good spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee...if it was not as cold and rainy. There were other guests in the inn but it was quite and only saw them during breakfast. Breakfast was...bagels, english muffin, fruits, yougurt, oatmeal packets etc.. enough for a good start in the morning and the coffee and tea are available through out the day. The narrower stairs to the upstairs room are not a problem with smaller luggage and there is plenty of light through out the house. There are books and puzzles if you don't want to watch TV or be outside. The wi-fi was good and was needed as the cell service was choppy. It was wonderful to wake up listening to the birds in the morning. The host is very responsive. This is a wonderful place to stay among nature."
"I was not given the WiFi code, got it from the cleaning woman’s daughter, the tub did not have a stopper? I couldn’t darken the tv screen. No one answered the local phone on Sunday. Or sat night."

"The check-in process was a nightmare. This hotel has elected not to staff their front desk after evening hours. I used a kiosk just off their porch to check myself in with some assistance from a remote operator. Once my credentials past inspection, I was asked to create my own room key cards. The instructions provided were not specific and the key cards did not work.
There was no online help available using the kiosk; once the original operator had signed off I had no way of contacting him again. I had obtained a contact telephone number from the online information, but there was no cell service available on the mountain where the inn was located.
Eventually, I located a piece of paper attached to the wall of the entry area which provided instructions to sign on to the facility Wi-Fi which enabled telephone communications. The same sheet of paper provided four telephone numbers as potential contacts. The first two did not answer the phone. The 3rd was helpful, but was unable to provide me with a key card. Ultimately, they contacted their security contractor who dispatched an agent to unlock the room.
We had been driving for hours and were very tired after a busy day. It was not the welcome we needed and expected.
Overall the room was acceptable. Several aspects of the property appeared somewhat run down - while it was not as attractive as it had appeared online, it was not unacceptable."
"It was like stepping back in time, but with all the modern amenities. Cookies and expresso were available and a breakfast basket was delivered to our door. It is beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend! "
