"An amazing & lovely place to stay with a great view and would do so again! Had some hiccups getting checked inn due to a minor tech issue causing manually written paperwork being needed which that caused a backup in the office. Room interiors where dated in there styling but clean & well maintained. Only issue I had was the mini refrigerator, the frizor was backed with frost obstructing the sensor so the main fridge wasn't cooling properly. Did bring it up when checking out and saw the friendly staff immediately recording the issue to solve it. Only other wish would be to see taller toilets they felt extremely low & small to me. Despite this I would book again!"
"Perfect weekend getaway I stay here once a year. The food at the restaurant is great as well as the drinks. The included breakfast has a great spread. The big plus is the staff are so kind. Walk across the street and you have the warm springs to soak in."
"Mountain Quest was very unique and very comfortable. The room was a theme and very clean! The vibe was great and breakfast was very good and home cooked. The property was beautiful. We would stay here again!"
"I very much appreciated the way the staff treated us, they were first-class.
Wifi outages on Sept. 30 and October 1 we are seniors and don’t do the nightlife. We watch tv and go to bed.
The paperwork at the spa can be transitioned to tablets. When using multiple days the info would self populate.
A handhold at the front of the tub, we are seniors and have balance issues getting in and out of the tub. Or better yet convert the tubs to walk-in showers. I mean who takes a bath when one is at a spa."
"This charming 100+ year old inn has so much to offer the traveler: An inviting front porch, rear deck, and comfy parlor for hanging out, antique furnished bedrooms with modern private baths, fast wi-fi, and an included extensive continental breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the towels fluffy. Every area of the inn is extremely well maintained and clean. Conveniently located in a walkable area close to shops and restaurants. The photos on their listing are 100% current and accurate.
Surrounded by the West Virginia mountains, and a block from the Greenbrier River Trail, it was perfect for these e-bike enthusiasts. The inn is set up to meet the special needs of all types of bikers by offering covered parking for motorcycles and a covered, secured area for bicycles that can accommodate e-bike charging.
The innkeepers are great. They do not live on site but have things very well organized and labeled so it was easy to find what you might need."
"Wonderful stay in this quaint but spacious apartment. Great setting with a beautiful stream close by. Plenty of parking and a fabulous restaurant (Gustave’s Bistro) in an attached building.
It’s self check-in but we hadn’t received the check in email with door codes by the time we arrived. Fortunately, there was a phone number and the owner immediately provided the email so entry was not an issue at all. We would highly recommend this place."
"The trip was ok! We were not aware that the onsite restaurant would be closed for the first two days of our trip! We would have brought much more food from home. The cabin and furniture needs some repairs! Simple! Folks were nice and helpful. River was low but beautiful!"
