"Don't expect to stay in the main house, you will most likely be allocated a double room in the garden wing. This though not externally impressive is similar to a Premier Inn in layout internally. All staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was okay, can be busy so you may need to queue in line. Restaurant i can't comment on as this we didn't use, bar snacks available from the bar"

"Feels like a hotel that’s bitten off more than it can chew. Lack of towels and water in the room, had to ask for more. Spa facilities good, if not a little basic. Has a touch of a school or detention centre rather than a “luxury” spa hotel perhaps. Someone in the room next door woke us up at 6am with the most disturbing guttural noises. Bordering on vomiting, perhaps near death. Hopefully they made it to breakfast. Thin walls. Staff were friendly enough and the iron was clean at least."

"I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are spacious and always very clean. I find the beds are very comfy. Always have a good night's sleep. Each time I have stayed here it has been very quiet at night, no noise from other residents which is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good facilities to use. Nice restaurant and good food. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Stayed one night, room only. This is a great option if staying in the area. Very pleasant reception area and helpful staff. Our room on first floor was very lcomfortable and large enough for a sofa and sitting area with TV. Spacious bathroom. The only criticism is that the fittings are a bit outdated but worked fine. The pool is nice although the jacuzzi was out of action. We didn’t use it but there is a large fitness area with all the usual equipment. Plenty of free parking out front.
