A lovely stay at the Pembroke Arms. There was plenty of free parking to the rear of the Inn. Reception was efficient and friendly. Our room - two double beds so for four people - was large and comfortable with lovely touches like TeaPig teas and ground coffee. The room itself was quite cold but reception turned the heating up for us and it was a really cold day so no complaints. The Room in the Garden is a lovely space, it was clean, the large bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was spacious and great, especially in the hot weather. In the room was a coffee machine with coffee pods, tea and milk and a TV. Outside was a lovely shaded patio where we enjoyed a welcome cup of tea when we arrived, and a freshly prepared, very tasty light breakfast the following morning. This was a last minute booking that suited us perfectly for cost and conveniently near Chippenham and Bath. We arrived after the restaurant had closed and the coffee machine had been shut down.
