We were told that we couldn’t eat at the restaurant or go to the beach. "Staff were wonderful and welcoming and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Views across the water were lovely! Also, very walkable to restaurants and the Montagna and the medieval town. Unfortunately, construction/renovation within the hotel (top floor?) started around 8:30am and was quite disruptive. We had already been woken up at 8am by the loud 8am daily flag raising ceremony at the US naval base across the street."
