"My wife and I really loved Simos hotel - the location is perfect, just a few moments walk from the water, great restaurants, and cafes. It was extremely quiet and clean, the AC unit worked really well, and was also very quiet, which is unusual and a big bonus.
The owner and staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us where we needed advice. If we ever go back to the area (and I'm fairly certain we will), I would definitely stay there again."

"Perantzada was the centerpiece of my time on Ithaca. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with bright blue walls, flowers everywhere, breathtaking views over the harbor, and the perfect location—just a short walk into town while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. Our room and balcony were spectacular for relaxing or watching the sunset with a spritz. Most afternoons were spent lounging by the beautiful pool (with Paloma, the sweetest poolside snuggle kitty, making every day even better).
What truly makes Perantzada so special, though, is the people. Katarina, Aris, Panos, and the entire team welcomed my girlfriends and me with such genuine warmth that we immediately felt comfortable, safe, and like part of the community. We genuinely didn't want to say goodbye when it was time to leave.
One of my favorite moments was meeting guests who have been returning every year for nearly 30 years. After spending time here, I completely understand why.
Perantzada is so much more than a beautiful hotel—it's a place that stays with you long after you leave. It made us fall even more in love with Greece, and we can't wait to come back."
"Everything about this hotel was fabulous, the staff were so kind and our daughter loved the pool. We liked it so much we ended up back at the hotel for an extra night. Looking forward to.xoming back next year"
"Beautiful setting - The unit we stayed in, the buildings and grounds in general, and the views were all stunning!
Horrible path to get to the location - The path up to the hotel is steep and narrow with sharp turns, and when we visited it wasn't a pleasant or pretty drive up. That said, it was worth the effort!
Lovely staff - lovely in every way.
Odd meal hours - Breakfast starts at 8, which seems late given the number of early-morning cruises and tours in the area. The schedule states the dining room is open until 10, but I was told the kitchen closes at 9:30 so they have time to clean and prepare for the next day. It might be best to simply say they close at 9:30 to avoid mis-communication.
Superb food - Both breakfast and the dinner we had were superb.
We would be thrilled to return to this property."
"We had a wonderful stay at this family-operated hotel. The service was excellent.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Every area was spotless and clearly very well maintained. So was the pool and pool area.
The location was perfect, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer but the hotel area was quiet and relaxing. Thank you."
