"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. Lovely bg room with balcony overlooking the lake (on 2nd floor), excellent breakfast, freshly baked bread and swiss cheese, nice meats, yoghurt, full selection of coffees, really nice. Given a Montreux Riveria Card on arrival, very friendly and professional check-in, good car parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bathroom slightly dated (perfectly satisfactory) but room modern, clean and big, very comfortable bed. Excellent value.

Hotel Victoria is around a 3 minute walk from Glion station (cog train from Montreux train station which takes around 12 mins). Stunning views from our lakeside room. Room 3 has an interconnecting door to Room 2 and is not particularly well soundproofed. Due to health issues with our neighbour, little sleep was had on the first night. On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who checked us in quickly. We were given a Riviera card each which allows us to use public transport for free and gives us discounts on different attractions. We didn't know about this so that was a bonus.
