Many hot springs around. Need your own transport to get around. Went off season so maybe the dining options were limited. Good place to unwind though.

If you come to tokyo for your vacation, you should consider check out this onsen.they have a free shuttle bus from shinjuku every day its about 4-5hrs rides, not to mention they have a very special onsen water....

YADOKARI VILLAGE KITAKARUIZAWA
7月の平日宿泊でした。ワーケーションも兼ねた宿泊滞在でしたが、コンパクトな室内ですが簡易キッチンの調理備品などが充実しており、買い込んでいった食材などを冷蔵庫にストックしながら料理が出来ました。wifi環境も良く快適に仕事ができる環境でした。早朝の日の出と浅間山の優雅なビューと静けさ含めて絶景、夏場の木々が生い茂り涼しい日中を過ごさせて頂きました、また機会があれば活用させて頂きます！
