"Just got back from a stay at Shana. Both the property and staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to help us… with things related to coming and going, setting up outings for the day that kind of thing. They are responsive to questions asked over the net/expedia which is something other places are not. Much appreciated. Also much appreciated is their handling of our late check in and check out. The hotel is on a fairly steep hill, so bear that in mind if mobility impaired… that going from your room to the pool/restaurant/reception might be tricky. This is offset by the golf carts that staff regularly have on hand to drive people up and down the hill, much appreciated by my mobility impaired wife. There is a beach that is walkable from the hotel, there are tents and chairs available to rent there along with kayaks and other equipment. It is swimmable and it is snorkel-able (not as clear as I am used to but still very nice to be able to do from the properly). The restaurant is great, the food fantastic and the service quite attentive. I only have smaller things to be constructive about related to the kitchenette part of our room, like the stove not being levelled and one of the clips for the top of the fridge’s water dispenser missing. It was a great time, the kids loved it and would readily recommend it. I actually just spent the wait before the last flight telling another family about how nice it was. "

"The beach access sold it for us. We really enjoyed hanging out on the beach and then swimming in the pool in the evenings. My kids took surf lessons. Quick access to MA park. We saw monkeys on the property! Had a nice time! "

"My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was supposed to have an ocean view but really did not have even a partial ocean view. Aside from that everything was excellent, service was great, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious, and the view from the pool was lovely. We had nice treatments from the spa as well. I enjoyed the birds on the property and especially appreciated the Scarlet macaw and rehabilitation program and reserve on the property. "

Leo was absolutely instrumental in guiding our overall experience, gave fantastic food recommendations, was incredibly prompt at attending to every single need. The staff is overall 10/10. We stayed at the honeymoon grand villa and the accommodations were 10/10 in all respects. "
