When one enters the gates of the Quinta, one is brought into a quiet beautiful space, which the owners have lovingly updated to accommodate the visitor. The linens are especially soft and fragrant. "This is a nice hotel with lovely swimming pool, reasonably sized rooms and yummy buffet breakfast. There’s dinner buffet on three nights too at €29 pp bit with lots to choose so good value. There’s even a little boat to take you to the beach. The only ‘watch out’ is that there’s music all the time and lots of children entertainment. Unfortunately our room was close to the restaurant, which was good as my wife can’t walk far, but they did not tell us that there’s music etc every evening till...

"Extended our stay in the Algarve region by spending a night here. It was quickly obvious that one night was far too short for this wonderful property. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. You can’t beat the location. Snacks and breakfast were very tasty. The ultimate place to relax. We hope to be back soon!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special. Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect! We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again."

"This was my first visit to the property however it will not be my last. Beautiful outlook with plenty of greenery and fruit trees to sit among. Breakfast is a feast with a little bit of everything, all the tarts and bakes a handmade by the hosts it is delicious. As you are in a rural setting having a car would be best although we did not have a car and it didn’t stop us at all, you can use Uber no bother and you are actually only a 10 minute walk away from a local train station which has a regular service to Tavira and many other destinations which is great. Fred and his wife are lovely and will support you with whatever you need, they will give you some great dinner recommendations for local restaurants. 10 out of 10 cannot wait to come back"

"This was my second solo week at this hotel and I was more than happy with my return visit. The hotel is spacious and welcoming with very well kept gardens. The room I had was again spacious and clean. The food is incredible with many different things to try at each meal; this was one of the main attractions luring me back to the hotel from last year! The pool is clean and family friendly without being too loud. The staff are very friendly without being ‘in your face’ which I found perfect. The road train down to the beach is a lovely trip where you can see avocados growing on the trees as well as typical citrus fruit of the region."
