"Room was tidy but there were no basic toiletries or coffee/tea, although there was a jug for boiling water. I had to make a special request for these before they were provided. Also, & more importantly, internet sevice was unstable making it difficult for me to send or receive messages & when I tried to get assistance, the bedside phone was not working. I had to go down to reception to get internet & phone fixed. Thankfully it was only 1 night. Unlikely that I would come back again. "

"The rooms were excellent. The best thing that I liked about the place are the service from people. Super friendly and courteous, there is never an answer of “no” or “can’t be done “. While I don’t remember everyone who helped us out, few names that I remember are, Ajeesh at check-in, Vijay at the restaurant, Prabhakar at th the reception are all excellent. Sorry others, I can’t recollect all of your names. If they keep up the service level high, then this will be top hotel to stay in Kumbakonam. "
