- Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Check-in went fine. Minor changes due to Covid-19 and city-wide mandate to wear face coverings in public had just taken effect earlier in the week. Paid for a suite with 1 king, separate living area with wet bar and fridge. Furnishings dated/damaged--bar had a 3-4" wide scrape all along the lower front of unit, which faced out into the room. Carpet and window coverings older styling, but functional. The morning after checking in, we had gone out for an early morning walk, and returned around 930 to note the housekeeping team was several rooms away, but heading towards our room. We quickly exited the room, after leaving the tag on the bed indicating we'd like the linens exchanged. Around 330 I returned to the room and found that the room had not been touched--no cleaning, no beds made, no garbage removed, etc. When calling from front desk to learn why I was told that I had requested no housekeeping when making the reservation. This was completely untrue-I never would've asked for no housekeeping knowing that the temperatures would be in the 90s (extra showers needed) and that we would be eating meals in our rooms as well (extra garbage created). However when I explained this to the front desk, I got no where--she told me there was no one available in housekeeping until the following day, and that there was no manager on duty until Monday (this was Saturday night). She did say that she could come and take the overflowing garbage bins and empty them-which she did.
