Golden beaches stretch along Manilva's coast where Roman ruins and vineyards producing sweet Moscatel wine create a perfect blend of history and relaxation. Climb to the 18th-century Castle of the Duquesa for panoramic Mediterranean views, then explore nearby Casares' whitewashed village streets for authentic Andalusian charm.
As one of the more affordable hotels in the area, my partner and I felt it represented excellent value for money. The rooms were clean and all facilities, including the fridge/freezer, air conditioning, TV, and shower, worked very well throughout our stay. The pool area was also nice and well-maintained.
In terms of location, the hotel is ideally suited to those with a car or who are willing to spend money on taxis to reach the local areas, as it's situated up a hill. We were aware of this...

The reception staff were amongst the best we’ve ever experienced and the hotel is well situated in the old town with numerous bars and restaurants within a short walk. The rooftop terrace is a great sun trap, even in January.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this place. Family friendly. Lots of local places to eat out. Must have a car to go around. 30 mins drive to Marbella.

Had an amazing stay at The Flag for a week. It was the perfect peaceful stay as a solo woman traveller. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the whole area felt safe. Will be returning soon!

My husband booked this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and his birthday. On arrival we informed that our room had been upgraded which was fantastic. We were then given a tour of the hotel by the guest relations manager. Our room was stunning and huge! It is worth mentioning the massive bed which was as comfortable as it looked. We took the free transport to the beach club where we had a lovely lunch looking at the sea, the service and food were excellent. We used the Spa facilities at the...

Great place to stay and staff were very helpful with any queries and helping to book a taxi when uber failed. Comfy beds and clean rooms. The only point I could make was there could have been a been a bigger selection at breakfast
