Seaside Hotel

"Reception is open 24/7 and everyone was so kind and friendly. Rooms were immaculate including the bathrooms. Breakfast was good. Parking is a little complicated. We went in August and we reserved a parking spot anticipating that the street parking would be full but someone needs to open and close the gate for you every time you want to get in and out. Overall, highly recommend"

"This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Tucked away at the foot of Etna, the views are absolutely beautiful - both of the coast and the volcano - and the whole place felt so peaceful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, but it’s the little details that make it so special - it has a real Sicilian charm about it and is very picturesque. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean and beautifully kept, with a wonderful shower and a super comfy bed. What really made the stay special was Sara and her family. I have genuinely never felt so welcomed at a hotel. We were made to feel less like guests and more like friends who had come to stay - such a warm and polite host who went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Sara’s mother also makes the most wonderful homemade cakes and jams to complement breakfast, eating these, sitting outside on the sunny patio... amazing! We were genuinely sad to leave. In fact, this is somewhere I know I'll return to again and again. If you’re visiting Sicily and looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful and genuinely special, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly!"

"Hotel had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Short walk to the town for a good selection of restaurants in the evenings. Good breakfast selection at the hotel in the morning."
Hotel Ristorante Paradise

"Room 103 had a view of mount etna and we watched it from the balcony during an eruption. What an experience! The pool area was clean, breakfast was cooked to order, wifi good and parking plentiful. The only downside is that dinner didn't start until 19:30. That is normal in italy but there was also no where in walking distance to eat. We drove to a lovely pizza shop nearby called salvos because I cannot eat that late."

"The room was nice with a balcony and a view from the bed to the mountains. The pool is lovely with a view through the valley to the sea. Breakfast was good, dinner served in the garden was great. It is a lovely rural location in an orchard. The staff and the owners were wonderful."

Shalai - Exclusive SPA and small gourmet hotel

"Our stay at Shalai was outstanding from start to finish. We received a warm welcome from a genuinely friendly and professional team. The hotel is set in a beautifully restored historic mansion on a quiet street, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Check-in was effortless. Our online check-in was fully recognized, so there was no need to repeat the process. No credit card was requested and payment was deferred until checkout, which was a pleasant surprise. The reception staff kindly introduced us to the hotel, showing the restaurant, lounge areas and spa services. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, with a king-size bed, excellent linens and towels, high-quality amenities, and complimentary water, coffee and tea. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had perfect water pressure and temperature. Although the hotel has no elevator, reaching the first-floor rooms via two short flights of stairs was easy. There is no private parking, but plenty of free street parking is available nearby, including spaces directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, offering fresh fruit, yogurt, drinks and coffee, while all hot dishes are prepared à la carte, with delicious options such as croissants, eggs, omelets and sandwiches. The staff was consistently attentive, welcoming and professional. Our only suggestion would be to include hair conditioner among the bathroom amenities. Apart from that small detail, everything exceeded our expectations."
