Our overall experience was a 10/10!! The staff was incredible. They were welcoming, helpful, and extremely hospitable. The food was delicious. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The open air dining was romantic and quiet.

The gym is one of the best ones that I have had the pleasure of working out in. Most hotels have a cardio section and dumbells. Samata has that, PLUS a squat rack, a smith machine, leg press machine, cable machines, and... a boxing/kickboxing area!!! Awesome!
We chose to have a spa day that included a 60 minute massage and a coffee body scrub. This was MY first experience doing anything like this, and I have to tell you that they set the bar super high! It such a relaxing experience and the coffee scrub left our skin feeling so smooth.
My wife and I are already planning to come back to Bali with our kids and when we do, we will definitely be booking our stay here again.

Wow! This resort was so beautiful, and the location was so peaceful. The villa was roomy and luxurious feeling. It had a king-sized bed with mosquito netting, an indoor bathroom and an outdoor shower and a private pool. The pool at the restaurant was so beautiful that we used it instead. We scheduled a message at the spa, which was affordable and incredible. Try the French toast at breakfast. It was an easy Grab car ride into Abud and a nice break from the hustle of the city.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Ubud, walking distance to everywhere. Lovely friendly staff, delicious cooked breakfast. Pool was small but beautiful and clean, with happy hour cocktails and menu from the hotel restaurant which was really delicious and incredible value. Free afternoon tea on the roof terrace which was a bonus too. Would definitely come again!
