Superb host and great room
What a pleasant experience! Service is top notch, room was superb, location and view are both great. Breakfast was also a great surprise. Entire gang just as nice as can be. Highly recommend!

Massimo was a pleasure and joy to be around. He was a life-saver when we were stranded in Varenna - note that there are only a handful of cabs (none that would take us home) from Varenna to Mandello on a Saturday night, so plan accordingly and take the last train. Overall such a fun and amazing experience. A

Wow! We stayed here for 5 days. Massimo our host was wonderful! He helped us find a private boat tour on Lake Como. He helped us with dinner reservations and we especially loved the private dinner with the elderly cook. We took the train to Varenna and then the train and ferry to Bellagio. Very close to the train station. Great breakfast. When the last train accidentally took us to Varenna instead of Olcio he even offered to come get us but we ended up finding a taxi for $23 euros. He is truly a Super Host!

Our stay at Casa Della Musica was fantastic! Massimo was brilliant - helped in every way with transport, restaurants, local knowledge and just the nicest guy to have met. Would highly recommend Casa Della Musica to those travelling to Lake Como. Definitely a place we will return to.

Very pleasant stay
We enjoyed the stay at Casa della Musica. The owner is very friendly and very accomodating. We went by car and that was perfect by having the opportunity to park in the house's garage (at a very small fee) and use the car for driving around Como lake. It was the perfect position for a lovely and pleasant trip in the area.

I’m already ready to go back!
This is an amazing place. Casa della Musica is actually in a small town called Olcio, one train stop up from Mandello. It is situated not a five minute walk from the train station. The house is comfortable, modern, and clean, with every thoughtful amenity. Massimo is a delightful host. He took such good care of us throughout our stay. Breakfast every morning. Suggestions on things to do. Chatted when we wanted to chat. Left us alone in the garden when we wanted to be quiet. He is the host by which all future hosts will be judged! Just book your stay. You won’t regret it. I’m already ready to go back.

Lake view near to station
The B&B Casa Della Musica suited us very well as it is so close to the station. The owner, Massimo was great at communicating before we arrived with advice regarding transport. The place was spotless and he went above and beyond too website that we had a lovely stay.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at B&B Casa Della Musica in May 2023! We stayed in the Mozart room which was huge and had an amazing view of the lake, the bed was so comfortable too - one of the best we've ever stayed in! The best part of our stay though was the host Massimo, he was just incredible! He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing us with train tickets, giving us advice on what to do/see and even buying a special cake to help us celebrate my partner's 30th birthday :) He was always on whatsapp to help us, even when there was a landslide which affected trains he stayed in constant contact with us to make sure we got back to the B&B safely. The breakfast was super delicious and all made by Massimo himself, honestly we couldn't have asked for more! The area itself is great, really quiet and so easy to get into the more touristy areas (only 20 mins to Varenna & Massimo provides you with the tickets). There aren't many places to eat but Massimo recommended Villa Maggio (10 min walk away) where you get an amazing home-cooked meal for only 20 euros per person, definitely recommend! We hope we will be able to come back one day, thank you Massimo for everything!!

We felt at home with Massimo. He went out of his way to look after all our needs. Train times- restaurants - washing , breakfast- dinner if we didn’t want to go out. Massimo also helped us to our touring iternary of Lake Como. He was available 24 hours for our needs. I highly recommend Casa Della Musica.

Perfect Stay at Casa Della Musica
Fantastic trip around Lake Como helped by a fantastic host Massimo and wonderful peaceful and picturesque location right beside the lake. Stunning vistas from the balcony and great service from our host who was always willing to go the extra mile including catering for my individual dietary. I'd highly recommend Casa Della Musica as a base for your trip to Lake Como.

Peace and Quiet with the perfect Host.
We had three nights here in Casa Della Musica in the small village of Olcio on Lake Como. Massimmo was the perfect host. We had an entertaining three days. My daughter loved the piano and the pool on the sun terrace. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and a different fresh cooked style of eggs every morning. Real Italian coffee of course from the stove percolator. If you are looking for a relaxed easy getaway I can highly recommend. Very close to the small village station and on the main line to from Lecco. Massimmo will definitely look after you. Hope to be back again!

Massimo is a great host, the place is very clean, organized and very specious. I was greeted with a beer which is a great touch. Everything that one needs is provided, plus a lot of details printed on guide books that help explore the area. The breakfast was also delicious and prepared fresh, plenty of food too. I will definitely stay again at Massimo's house if I return to Como lake in the future.

The Fabulous Italian Experience
This was one of the best family holidays we have ever had. Our host Massimo made us feel like we were family and had known him for years. He welcomed us with a smile and cool drink.Massimo is amazing and really made the holiday. He is knowledgable, friendly and will do anything to help. The place is beautiful, clean, amazing views of the mountains and lakes. Within walking distance of a beach, ice cream parlour and restaurant. The train station is a stones throw away and only a few stops from other places. Massimo has train tickets to get you to your destination. An information packed folder was in our room with places to visit, train times etc. This was even in various languages with pictures and details. We highly recommend this holiday to anyone. Peaceful, stunning, relaxing, delicious food and lots to do depending on personal interests. The room we had was cosy, well designed and super clean.Most importantly fantastic views. Massimo kept in contact before we even arrived. Pick this place and you won’t want to go home. The Brett Family PS Our daughter turned 16 when we were there ,and Massimo sung and played the piano for her. Top Man

Wonderful place with a plentiful breakfast in the garden, a beautiful view over the lake and easy driving distance to Varenna and Lecco (to return the rental car). Friendly and helpful host offered lots of information for touring the surrounding area. Wifi was a bit slow at times.

Serence and Peaceful Stay on the Lake Como
Massimo was a most kind, attentive and accommodating host. He greeted me each morning with a cheery good. morning, make an excellent breakfast for me, answer any questions I had, even ordered my pizza and had it delivered my first night. My room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The environment was serene and restful. I enjoyed peaceful sleep and active days walking on safe paths to neighboring towns. One night I was relaxing on the patio and Massimo brought me a beer. So sweet. :-)

It was a very nice stay at Casa della Musica! Perfect accomodation, 100m from beach, trainstation Olcio and restaurant. Massimo is a very friendly owner and services perfect breakfast. If you are looking for accomodation at Lake Como you can’t find a better place!

Wir waren zwei Nächte da und haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolle Unterkunft und sehr guter Ausgangspunkt. Massimo der Besitzer hat uns sehr nett empfangen, Tipps gegeben und mit einem umwerfenden Frühstück verwöhnt! Der Restaurant Tipp Villa Maggio von ihm ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Es war sehr schön dort! Vielen Dank Massimo, für die tolle Zeit!

Erster Kontakt kam gleich nach der Buchung, mit der Anfrage ob auch eine Garage mit kleinem Aufpreis gewünscht ist, fand ich schon mal super👍Der 2te Kontakt 1 Tag vor Ankunft uns zu melden mit der Ankunftszeit und es hat alles geklappt. Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Grösse, kleiner Kühlschrank, Teekocher und genug Stauraum auch im Badezimmer. Die Matratze sind bequem und Sauberkeit ist topp🤩Seesicht ist wunderschön am Morgen wie auch am Abend. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum, wenn man Unverträglichkeiten hat, werden gleich Alternativen angeboten👍Der sehr nahe Bahnhof kann für den einen eine Freude sein, da die Tickets auch direkt beim Besitzer bezogen werden können, ist für mich als leicht Schläfer leider ein Fluch, da die Fahrten um 5.00 los gehen. Wir werden aber sicher wieder kommen❤️

Mein Mann und ich verbrachten 7 Tage in der Casa della Musica - von 5 möglichen Sternen würde ich 8 Sterne vergeben!! Einfach perfekt!! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gemütlich, hell, mit Blick auf den See und richtig schön! Massimo zaubert jeden morgen ein Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt! Auch sonst steht er bei allem mit Rat und Tat bereit, hilft mit Ausflugstips (Motorradtouren die wir ohne ihn nie gefunden hätten) , Restaurantempfehlungen usw. usw.!! Wir hatten wünderschöne Tage und werden Massimo und die "Casa della Musica" mit Sicherheit wieder besuchen!!
