"We were treated at best as an annoyance and at worst as garbage. How hard is it to get wine in a place like this? Quite hard as it turns out. And don't you dare bring in another label of wine! I was personally yelled at by two women who work there because I asked to borrow a corkscrew. Otherwise, our door lock was broken but the room was clean and there was a lovely view. "Authentic farmhouse property - very quaint and quiet. It added to the sense that we were assimilating into Italy and not just staying in a hotel that could be anywhere in the world. The owners are fabulous - kind and considerate. We were there when it was too cold to use the pool. The countryside is just gorgeous. The food they prepared was delicious. They do not speak a lot of English but I was able to communicate adequately. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

We were very fortunate to be able to go on a hike on the property with Lorenzo, who was a wealth of knowledge on the history of Tuscania and its people. "This is truly a gorgeous place to stay, and I would highly recommend that you stay here. The pictures they have online truly don't do it justice. It is a picturesque resort and such a wonderful place to stay. As you drive up to the resort, the road is lined with these beautiful trees, and the whole property is surrounded by acres and acres of grape vines for the winery. They graciously upgraded my wife and I to a superior room for free, and were so kind and helpful. We ate at a delicious restaurant in nearby Montemerano called La Cascia. The breakfast at the resort was totally first class, and the food was absolutely delicious. I wish that we could have stayed here for several days, so that we could really enjoy all that the area had to offer."
