Overdue for a remodel. Toilet seat was cracked and old but clean. There was a weird smell to the whole place. Good location but we won’t be staying again until they remodel.

For my first time using Expedia I’ll never use it again. I reserved two nights at the quality inn using the pay later option. I was charged the morning of the reservation for what I can now determine was one of the nights. Upon check in I was charged the ENTIRE amount of the reservation after question the initial charge. The front desk manager proceeded to tell me that it was for incidentals and taxes…. I didn’t think that was correct but he insisted. After check in was completed, which took 45 minutes, I left for an event and something told me to check my account. They double charged me for the stay. They broke it up into two days. Then the whole amount and then the incidentals. Almost $1000 in charges. When I called the hotel he told me it was how they did business and that was what it was. So I got Expedia on the phone and they called and stated I would eventually get my money back but they couldn’t tell me when. It wasn’t the managers fault it was a system error. The whole thing was handled so awfully. James the front desk manager was so rude and was badly training a very nice gentleman. And to be honest the black mold around the bathroom, the writing on the walls and peeling wallpaper was not worth almost $200 a night. Expedia had no answer for why my booking was a pay later that was pre-charged and the hotel has yet to tell me when I’ll receive a refund. Steer clear. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

The clerk at check in was rude and not helpful. The hotel is rather outdated with old furniture in the rooms. The bathroom was dirty with peeling wallpaper from above the shower. The lightswitch in the bathroom qas broken in the wall. The tv did not work as it had a faint video on the screen but only static noise for audio. The continental breakfast was a rotting fruit and premade pastries. Will not stay here again.
