This was one of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed in. The room, staff, and area were absolutely fabulous. The village and surrounding area was beautiful with some incredible little restaurants. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel
We had a fantastic stay at the Can Joan Capo hotel, the room was great as was the pool and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful hotel in rural Majorca
Beautiful friendly hotel situated in rural Majorca. Set just back from centre with easy access to restaurants and shops. Rooms all individually designed. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Can’t go wrong at this beautiful hotel in Sineu!
We were very pleased with our stay here at this little boutique hotel in Sineu. Everyone was extremely friendly. Maria at the front desk was very helpful suggesting places to go for a glass of wine or dinner. The breakfast was made to order eggs & a nice selection of breads and fruit in either a nice dining area or a beautiful garden. We weren’t there early enough to make a reservation for dinner the night before but the menu looked great! We would definitely recommend this delightful hotel in this charming old town of Sineu.

What a wonderful Hotel! It truly is like finding a gem, a first class hotel! ....the quality, cleanliness & attention to detail was second to none. On the fringe of the lovely town of Sineu
We arrived at midday on a Wednesday - Market Day -- which is huge for such a small town. The Hotel has no car parking facility and the closest we could get the car to the Hotel was parking some 800 metres away in a field ! We trudged to the Hotel with our luggage to find it was locked and the there was no response to us ringing their door bell. We were not given the entry code prior to arrival ?

Dear Stephen, Thanks for your review. We are so sorry that your arrival was not a positive experience for you. It is true, Wednesdays can be quite crazy in Sineu which we can't influence actively but of course, you should feel like we are welcoming you with open doors when finally arriving at our hotel. For the safety of our guests though, we decided to keep our entrance closed at all times and put out a sign for new guests that did not receive an access key yet, indicating that one has to ring the doorbell and we try our best to come and open immediately. We are very sorry that we did not manage to welcome you in a way that you as our guest can expect us to, please accept our apologies for this. We hope that the positive memories you made during your stay compensated this bad start we had. Comfortable hotel in a charming village
We loved our stay at the Hotel Can Joan Capo. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is a beautifully restored villa, with attention to detail and a lovely pool area. While all of the guests were adults when we stayed there, our kids (ages 10 and 13) felt welcome by staff and guests. The village of Sineu is a picture postcard of a slow-paced Spanish village, complete with a lively town square with locals and for us, that was a big selling point. We just loved everything about it. Mallorca is a small island so while Sineu is not on the beach, it is close enough for easy day trips and from what we saw of the the coastal developments, we would stay there again.

We have stayed st this village many times so know the area very well but this was our first time at this hotel. It certainly won't be our last. It was absolutely lovely. The staff were great and the standard of all facilities were first rate.

Beautiful small hotel. Highly recommended.
Fantastic small hotel. Beautifully designed and restored by the Architect husband of the charming owner. We had a family room for the four of us. It was beautiful and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel owner and staff. Breakfast was great too. Have nothing negative to say about this place. Sineu is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants. It is good base to explore the rest of the island.

Stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel. Extremely clean, relaxed and quaint hotel miles away from the thousands of tourist who flock to the island. Only negative was there were some items missing from breakfast due to fiestas in the village.

Romantic little gem
Small boutique hotel set in the middle of the island made this a great base to explore. The town is a nice size, lovely restaurants, fun weekly market on Wednesdays. The room was lovely, nice balcony overlooking the patio. The breakfast was fantastic, overall wonderful service here. I would return here and would highly recommend this hotel. The island of Mallorca was a nice island to visit, plenty to see and do.

Lovely little get away
Just returned home last night from a long weekend staying at can Joan capo for our 10th wedding anniversary. Beautiful rooms. Lovely hotel. Really nice boutique type hotel in a lovely village. Breakfasts are amazing! Looked forward to them each day. On the touchy subject of the coffee my husband said it was nice and we laughed saying if how coffee tastes here is all people have to complain about then it shows you how good the place is as there is not really anything you can fault! We will stay again. It felt like we had the place to ourselves! You get toiletries robes and slippers too. We had a hire car so we were able to get around but the train is really close by (although you never here it) so don't need one as such.

The Perfect Break!
Sineu won't suit everyone... It's quiet - very quiet, apart from Market Day, when it is very much busier, but still nice. Couldn't fault the hotel -it's not their fault that we arrived the day of an exceptional and unexpected storm that blew the very nice sun shades about all night on our first night ( bit noisey). We gathered them in on the second night, but needn't have bothered as the weather had returned to it's normal calm, balmy self. Great breakfast, great service - just loved it!

Enjoy the calm side of Mallorca
Perfect "get away weekend" for us. Easy to reach by train, close to the city center with many good restaurants. Service very friendly, but it would have been nice to get more service at the pool area (drinks, for instance). Good breakfast with individual freshly prepared products such as omelette. All in all very calm hotel - exactly what we were looking for!

En el Centro del Centro!!!!
Situación entorno e instalaciones inmejorables. Sineu en el centro de la Isla y can Joan Capó en el mismo centro de Sineu, permite visitar en coche cualquier punto de la Isla y una vez en el hotel todo Sineu con sus muchas terrazas restaurante y tiendas.

ein sehr idyllisches hotel am lande, in sineu, sehr ruhig in der nacht, gute betten, sehr gute klimaanlage (ganz wichtig im hochsommer!!). personal freundlich und bemüht, gutes frühstück und hübscher pool. ich würde wiederkommen, schon alleine wegen der guten luft

Excellent hotel and great hosts
First trip to Mallorca and we stayed in this lovely hotel. Sineu is great to visit the island as it’s right in the middle of Mallorca. At this hotel is excellent, lovely decoration and great view on the garden from our room’s balcony. I do greatly recommend this hotel. Breakfast is excellent too and the fact that we choose what we want make us feel really special. Thanks

Good hotel for the price
Unfortunately Expedia or the hotel had messed up so we did not get the kind of room we requested - make sure you give the hotel a call to verify that you get the room you've booked. Although the hotel staff (one person) did what the could (the had to talk to the manager), the handling from Expedia was really bad. This start might of course affect our review (we would probably had given it a higher rating if we weren't that sad) so when you read this review, have that in mind. Since the cellar (including the gym) got flooded we didn't have a chance to check it out.

Dear Anders, Thank you very much for your review about your stay at our hotel. We are so, so sorry that, by mistake, we did not register your reservation for a room with a terrace but for a regular double room. Since our hotel was fully booked and there was no room with private terrace available, the only thing we could do was to give you a room with access to a shared terrace. We hope the bottle of wine we offered and the free breakfast during your stay compensated a little bit for this error and, of course, we made every effort to make Expedia refund the price difference as quickly as possible. Your negative experience with Expedia's customer service made everything even worse and then came this storm that flooded parts of our hotel - something that has never happened since we opened the hotel 10 years ago... We understand that you are disappointed, please be assured that we truly regret that this happened. Unfortunately, we can't change things but we can say sorry once again and we can work on ourselves and improve constantly. Thank you so very much for having been our guest, we would be delighted to get a second chance and welcome you back again. All the best for you!

Lovely 2-night stay.
We appreciated that it was very quiet and peacefull at the hotel. The pool was great for cooling off on a hot day and the room we had was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The city itself didn't offer that much eventually but the distances to other cities were very convenient.

It is true, Yes, Sineu is a small town but luckily we are located right in the heart of the island and one can - as you mention - easily reach cities, sights, beaches and the mountains in all four directions of the compass.
