"Our stay at Lakka was wonderful. The property is in a perfect location — peaceful and secluded, yet within walking distance of both Malia Old Town and the newer part of town. The villa itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were incredibly kind, especially towards our baby, even gifting him a toy and leaving thoughtful treats in the fridge. They had also thought of everything for families, with a baby bath, highchair, slide, floats, and other little extras that made our stay so much easier. The only minor downside was that the pool was a little on the cold side, but everything else was truly excellent.

Manis and his staff was perfect. I got help with whatever I needed and whatever I didn’t understand as an English only speaker, they were quick to translate and explain.This trip was my first time in Europe and I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I slept with my balcony door open because it was so cool and I never needed the a/c. Yes there is a charge for usage but it was not needed during my stay. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. I would recommend a stay here and I will definitely be back next year. "
