"Wow! What an incredible holiday! ⭐️ We have just returned from a 7-night stay at the beautiful Lakka Suites and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Nancy, George and their mum are the most wonderful, kind and accommodating hosts. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We arrived to cold bottles of water, ice creams for the children and fresh fruit, such a lovely welcome after travelling! They were available 24/7, provided fresh towels whenever we needed them and throughout the week continued to surprise us with little goodies, all simply out of the kindness of their hearts. When we left, they even gifted the children goody bags and gave us homemade alcohol, such thoughtful gestures! Our flight was unfortunately cancelled, and they went above and beyond to help us. Their kindness and generosity during what could have been a very stressful situation meant so much to us, and we cannot thank them enough. The suite itself is WOW! 😍 Brand new, beautifully designed, spotless and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool is gorgeous and the perfect size, with floats and lilos provided too! The location is around a 15–20 minute walk to the main shops and strip, but it’s a beautiful walk through the quaint village. We 100% recommend Lakka Suites and will absolutely be returning! Everything was more than we could have asked for. Thank you Nancy, George and your mum for making our holiday so special! 🇬🇷❤️"

"Very clean and accommodating resort, short of no amenities. Staff are extra attentive and make you feel extremely comfortable especially when travelling with kids. Staff are amazing - arrived early and they did everything they possibly can to get the room ready well ahead of check in time which was great. Daily buffet changes offering a huge variety of food even for the fussiest eater."

"The most impressive was quality of food in buffet and the 3 restaurants. It's also perfect for families with kids. Cleaning was good, but missed some spots occasionally. The rooms are descent sized, comfy beds, bathroom was a bit small, but not a problem. What made stay great was that it was such a compact resort, but somehow they have "hidden the rooms" so it doesn't feel crowded. Beach is great, with plenty of chairs, pools the same. Amazing place for kids, as they kept meeting new friends, and parents could relax with a good overview pools and beach areas. Kids club had good opening hours and nice staff. Some staff members were excellent, some average, but they were all helpful with the kids. Food was beyond expectations. Top ingredients cooked very well. Exceptional value for money. What could be improved- Though most food was included, a couple of dishes needed extra payment. No roomservice was included in the Effortless package, but the ice cream shop was. There were 2 Wine lists, Effortless (all inc) + regular. The regular was available everywhere, the full effortless only in restaurants. In Bars only 3 wines, but all drinks included. Wine selection on effortless wine list could be improved, but a couple of good wines so no issues. Did not like shampoo and shower gel at all. Overall, for what we paid, we feel we received great value, our kid met so many new friends it was a great vacation for all. Will definitely be back."

"Just had a 7 night stay with my husband and children- 16,14,11. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. My daughter has a wheat and dairy intolerance and they were happy to let us use things we brought with us as well as buying milk and making a cake that she was able to have. The pool was big enough for them to play and have fun but not too busy like some bigger hotels. We are looking to come back next year."

"The rooms were lovely and clean. They were basic compared with the rest of the hotel, they could have done with some more storage or drawers. Food was good, entertainment was great, the children’s pool was a little small but done the job and there was always sun beds. I’d happily go back and I never usually say that"

"The staff was warm, smiley, and courteous. There was an issue with the room, and it was handled quickly and efficiently. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel owner was a pleasant person who came to talk with us, gave us tips on where to travel, and asked for our suggestions on how to improve the hospitality. It was definitely an excellent experience in Crete, and we will surely return there next time."
