I arrived early and I was able to leave my bags until my room was ready. When I returned check-in was quick. A light comfortable room and the instant coffee that was provided was a nice surprise. Access to the roof terrace in the hostel was welcome.

Smelly building
This was a hostel I knew but I had booked private room. I checked in and was sent to the building next door for my room - as soon as I walked into the building I smelled a nasty smell. Sewer.. I used the elevator and went to my room but the smell was still there. Not as strong as on the lower floor but it never went away and I literally had to use a mask to walk into the building. The smell was constant and I did check out after two days to go to another hotel. The place is located in a busy are but the smell was making me sick.

My third stay and honestly don't think you can do better for the price. Location is brilliant - 2 mins walk to the centre, staff are friendly, helpful and available 24hrs. The rooms are spotlessly clean, have great aircon and a good shower.

The location is very nice, centrally located in the city. Directly across the street from the central market. When you can’t get a seat at the market you can bring takeout back to the hotel. But seems like hotel is really on a budget. The bedsheets and covers have holes and the pillows are yellow. There are no amenities kits so must bring everything you need. Walls are thin, can hear next door with no problems.

Fantastic Hotel
Fantastic experience. Wonderful staff. I loved my private room with the skylight and the fridge. Beautiful clean bathroom with a hot shower. Comfortable bed. Great lighting. All of the amenities needed, fully working. Warning: the walls are a bit thin and one can hear the neighbors talking. That said, I will absolutely stay there again. The location is so convenient and the staff are so lovely. It was the perfect set-up for my weekend holiday. Also, be sure to check out the terrace. It’s a great place to work from. Strong WiFi throughout the facility, too.

You have to check in at the hostel next door which was a bit disconcerting, and a pain to go up the 4th floor of a different building just to check in. But once out of that building and in the hotel one, all was fine

Centrally located and comfortable room
Really comfortable and centrally located with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Fantastic shower and fast hairdryer. The room was lovely and light with windows on two sides though the bathroom only has a thin curtain so no privacy after dark with the light on. We've stayed here many times and highly recommend though it would be nice if the staff ever recognised that we were regular guests!

Great location
Mix up at check in - everything was paid before we arrived but they thought only deposit was paid. It was sorted out quite quickly. Hostel had a good help yourself communism breakfast for 1.50 euro good value and shared with other travellers in main hostel building next door. Very friendly. Bed ok but noisy when turned over. Great location , would recommend.

Spent two nights there in the 3 people suite in the top floor. The place was clean, modern and nicely decorated. Beds were good. That said we could not sleep because of the noise from the hall/stairs and adjacent rooms all night long. There is a big gap under the entrance door and that surely contributed to the noise issues. Walls are thin as well. Other point: the real size of the suite is much smaller since beeing under the roof, for someone of 1.80 like me that leaves about 2/3 of the room without banging your head. Lastly there are not enough windows, just a small one in the roof but not great. Mentionned the noise problem to management , got told there was no other room.

Great stay!
I only stayed one night but very clean and friendly stuff. Centrally located you can reach by walking all around. It was also great to store our luggage for free after check-out. Thank you!

A lovely clean newly renovated spacious ensuite room and very reasonably priced breakfast. Only stayed one night in order to get to airport in the morning but would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Lovely base to explore Malaga
Excellent 2 nights stop over at the Light Suites, made to feel very welcome by the staff. Allocated room 313 which overlooked the market on the 3rd floor. Lovely views and very quite at night. Fantastic location to explore all the wonderful sights of Malaga and some wonderful cafes and restaurants right on your door. Would highly recommend this accommodation if looking for somewhere to stay in Malaga. Hopefully we will revisit soon.

The location is at the city center. Restaurants, shops and markets are all within walking distance, very convenient for first-time Malaga traveler. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. My room/bathroom is fairly new, very clean and spacious. Bed is comfortable. The only downside(minor for me) is there is no wardrobe and no table in the room, otherwise, it is almost perfect :)

Stayed two nights. Would have been happy to have stayed longer. Location is right by the lovely fish market, where you can idle away a happy few hours eating and drinking local produce. Hostal 10 mins walk to train and bus stations. About the same to the cathedral,Picasso museum and sea front in scenic old town. Modern suite. Very clean and comfortable. Only thing missing was a fridge. Signage to place was lacking, but locals knew the road. Once found, easy thereafter. Always food and drink social activities available for guests. Nice terrace for evening sangria. Good place for all ages. I would stay again. Staff friendly and informative. Good English.

Lovely room with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Left luggage cupboard near reception left unlocked though and no-one on reception when we went to collect our bags so security not great. Otherwise wonderful in every aspect.

Super Location
The location couldn't be better, short walk to Málaga old quarter, opposite to main market. The hostel is in an centenary building. Bedroom basic but with a very comfy bed, spacious with a balcony. Bathroom with a pressure shower with plenty of hot water, all spotless, immaculate clean. Real good value for money. All means if transport on walking distance . Close to restaurants, super markets, coffee shops and city landmarks. Highly recommended.

Perfect location to explore Old Town!
Central hotel in old historic town within walking distance of all sightseeing places of interest! Although check-in was in the adjacent hostel, the suites are reached by a separate entrance and, generally, very quiet! The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and invited us to all activities/meals available! Reasonably priced, clean and comfortable! Major roadworks are being carried out in the main thoroughfare, but, as we were there at the weekend, it was relatively quiet! I would certainly stay there again! 😉

Modern rooms in a good location
We stayed one night in mid July and the room was clean and bright and well furnished. The a/c worked really well and the hairdryer was a powerful model. Our room was on the corner and had two big windows but the room itself was rather smaller than our previous room (we stayed in February). Also the bathroom was lovely but only had a net curtain over a lovely old enclosed balcony so there was no privacy with the lights on. The reception is in the next door building on the 4th floor and there is a roof terrace for drinks and a communal kitchen for breakfast or a cheap evening meal (we were rather older than the hostel clients so didn't join in!). The staff on reception were helpful and friendly.

We've been three times before & it's BRILL ! 5 mins walk to Station ! 100 metres from the Airport bus , very easy to find ? Larios - High Street within 100 metres , market across the street ! 1.5 euros Breakfast - YES !! 3 Euros a good evening meal with free Sangria on the roof terrace !! What's to say no ? Very good property. Collect keys from reception floor 4 in hostel, two dooraway, staff very pleasant and helpful, we would recommend this property, when back in Malaga, we will rebook.
