Excellent hostel, located very conveniently near historic centre. Friendly and helpful staff. I was given an apartment some way away from the actual hostel, but it was very convenient and a nice little place to stay.

Location is the best aspect of this hostal. Then, it's a small room. Depending on the room, you can hear voices from time to time. But overall, recommended if you visit Málaga a couple of days and you're on a budget.

Well located but not very comfortable

The hotel is located in the town of Nerja, which is close both to the seashore and mountains (I also wanted to do some hiking). There is free parking either next to the hotel or 200m away. Big minus is that my stay was not very resting. First because the bed was very uncomfortable and I ended up with back pain. Then because there is poor sound insulation and some guests were very noisy. Finally, the breakfast was very basic. It was serve in an inner yard, which could be nice if it was not ruined by people smoking there.

Nice place, friendly staff,great for budget travel

We are a couple from England visiting Malaga and found this hotel good value for money. The check-in was quite confusing as you had to go into a huge building and up to the third floor and then ring on a bell to get to a check-in desk. The lady there didn't speak too much English but was extremely friendly. We had an ensuite room and had to walk 4 minutes back across the city to get there with only a piece of paper and the name of the building. It would have been great to get specific instructions on where the place is. The room was clean and spacious and had a balcony, it was on the 7th floor so had good views. When we were checking out we were permitted to leave our bags in the main hotel building and they even offered us to use their shower facilities/bathroom later that day. I would highly recommend this place for budget travellers!
