"The Villa De 1945 is a beautiful building. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is good. The location is central - close to the river walkway. I did find the receptionist when I checked not particularly welcoming but staff overall were friendly and helpful. This seems to be a hotel that caters primarily for Indian guests rather than foreigners. That is understandable as Mahe is not a common tourist destination. "

"Little gem of a hotel right on the cliff top. Staff were nice and rooms clean. A lot of renovation work is just being finished which will add some lovely rooms. It is off the beaten track but does give rest bite from the city at the end of the day."
