"Check in and check out were easy enough. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean, but the furnished hair dryer was broken. It looked like it had overheated. No blowing air, just red-hot coils. No extras to be had according to the front desk. (Reminded myself to always bring my travel dryer from now on.) They did have a bottle opener for us to borrow for opening beer and wine coolers in our room! Continental breakfast was average... we opted for Peter's Pancakes (a must do!). Outside front entrance could be swept up more often. Overall, it was a good price for the stay. We would easily stay there again."

"The hotel location is great….right in the river with a beautiful deck to enjoy the peacefulness. Only 10 minutes from WCU campus, it is perfect for visiting families of students!"

"A quick one night stay for my husband & me with our two bassett hounds. Clean rooms. Updated bathroom. Large room with an entry space with open closet to hang clothes and a makeup vanity/coffee area w/chair. Next open room had king & queen beds; desk & chair; 2 upholstered chairs & 1 wooden rocker; tv/drawers/refrigerator area; and electric fireplace."

"Very nice people at front desk, room was SPOTLESS.....excellent location and property grounds were beautiful. Beds were comfy and room was quaintly appointed. On the downside, we could not use the chairs sitting on the porch of our room because of the two chain smokers sitting on porch next to us all night, not the property managers fault but maybe there should be a smoking area away from the rooms. Would have been nice to have some chairs to sit in near the river.....but overall satisfied"
