Great stay in spacious rooms

Booked same day for a sleepover when driving across Germany. 2 deluxe double rooms for a family of 7. Extremely spacious rooms with separate walk-in-closet, clean and well kept. Staff was very helpful and flexible. Breakfast was great

We had a wonderful stay – thanks to the lovely and caring staff and the charm of the hotel itself. It looked absolutely beautiful, both in the evening and in the morning. It's a shame we only stayed for one night! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The location is truly unique – peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing break. Fantastic Hotel

Fantastic hotel, only disappointment was that we only stayed one night, but will go back. Great buffet dinner and excellent value, nice facilities Breakfast was busy and food kept running out so gave it a miss. Lovely grounds and a tram stop outside which I assume takes you into the town.

Nice but a bit dated

Service was great, all personell we interacted with were kind and helpful. Free parking was available front of the hotel. We arrived late (after 21) and took an overnight stop. Booking and check-in was hassle-free despite the late hour. The furnishings in the room was a bit dated and there is an "old" smell to the place. Breakfast was great with good selection to choose from and the restaurant is very cozy. Would definitely consider staying if we need a stop on our way past Magdeburg again.

Very good

The room was spacious and cozy, although it smelled a little musty or smoky. We enjoyed the restaurant and had a nice walk in the park - our 3 year old son liked that there was a playground. It was a nice stop over for one night.

Only stopped for the one night as just happened to be the midpoint of our journey and was dog friendly. We were greeted by a friendly woman at reception who told us where we could find our room, bar, and breakfast for the next morning and gave us the key cards. I was pleasantly surprised by how the reception area looked and the room was very clean and spacious for 4 people and a dog. The bar was reasonably priced and had a lot of options. The breakfast the best hotel breakfast I've had at a hotel so far. It was a buffet style help yourself breakfast which had everything from fish to sausage to pastries. I'd stay here again on the return journey but unfortunately it is fully booked on the day I require.

The hotel was in a very scenic area and the photos used on the website, are very old. The venue is very dated and lacks some basic amenities including Air Conditioning. The rooms look tired and are clearly due an update.

This is a unique place with a special vibe to it. It’s like going back in time, in a positive sense. Service is very good and the staff is very friendly and extremely service minded. Both the breakfast and the spa is lovely.
