"This property was beautiful. I woke up to an amazing view every morning in my ocean-water villa. I loved the room and the restaurants were also nice. The staff were all kind to me and I truly enjoyed my stay here. The only thing I had a hard time with was no night life lol since my body was on a different time zone so I had a hard time falling asleep."

"The Standard is nothing short of magical. In addition to the beautiful surrounds, our stay was made all the more memorable by the exemplary service from the moment we landed till the time we bid farewell. An added benefit of staying at The Standard is its dedicated airport lounge and proximity to Malé which meant that we were the one of the first passengers off the seaplane that was also carrying guests staying at other properties. There are lots of activites to create wonderful holiday memories ranging from a variety of water sports, excursions, and amazing culinary offerings with breathtaking ocean views. Highlights of our stay include sunset yoga on Baby Island and snorkelling with the wonderful team from Carpe Diem. The amazing staff was a major contributor to our incredible stay. "It was our 3rd year anniversary and we had the best time ever…first of all on arrival..we got the WARMEST welcome from Mary our hostess…she’s very kind, friendly and pays attention to details… she made us very comfortable However, on the massage sector, my wife had the WORST experience with Margaret…she didn’t pay attention to the areas requested and after complaining my wife left there in pain and sore…she wasn’t as friendly so I wouldn’t recommend her… the waiters on the other hand are really kind and nice.. The rooms aren’t properly cleaned..the hygiene is not the best and you can tell its overtime poor maintenance…stains on the white tiles here and there and green mould around the shower corners… we stayed at the water villa with a pool Other than that, the food is 10/10 … the experience was amazing…enjoyed the sunset fishing, feeding and touching the stingrays and seeing baby sharks from our villa..it was surreal.. If you like to have fun, i’d recommend checking in on a Thursday as they always have DJ night and Rachana makes the BEST sheesha…and don’t forget to ask for Mary for a splendid experience. The place was definitely worth it, we’d definitely recommend "
