"This is a really nice hotel near the center of town (although not near any tourist sites). The rooms are great, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's near the Metro. The usually-included breakfast has a good variety of Brazilian and other western dishes, although during "rush hour" they are not replaced as often when emptied, and the fruit "juices" are not actual pressed fruit, but oversweet processed varieties. Also, one of the 3 elevators was out of order for some of my stay, which considerably slowed access."

"Good location I appreciated the free bottles of water that were supplied daily The kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were indifferent The gym could benefit from daily cleaning. In my room the bathroom needed renovating . The shower knobs fell off regularly and the wood on the bathroom door had become bumpy from what I assume was water damage. They painted over it rather than do better repairs The building is cracking in places. I could see the cracks and cement chips on the window sill in my assigned room."

"Amazing cost-benefit, you're in the heart of Salvador Carnival for the Barra-Ondina circuit. There are also good options to eat, very close to Shopping Barra, supermarkets, and drugstores. The hotel's structure is not the most modern or well maintained, but it is not an issue if you don't care about it. Also, be aware that depending on the floor, you may hear significant street noise."
