Mauricio, kaliana and the team were beyond brilliant, this place is such a paradise! The welcome and service throughout is second to none, they make sure they know you personally and that you are happy. My bungalow was on the beach and the location of the resort means you are isolated from any disturbances, it is wonderfully peaceful and fast fully decorated. There is also a GREAT dog on site called Nasdaq, and some tortoises which added to the homeliness of the Riake resort. Can not recommend...

I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...

It is off the beaten track surrounded by beautiful gardens and highly perfumed flowers, a small hotel, it is secluded and very private but will all the requirements you need. Food is excellent, all kinds of facilities are available you only have to ask. It has a secluded private beach, a small infinity pool overlooking the sea. Scuba diving is amazing and local tours are amazing.

The ocean was right in front of me. Absolutely Wonderful!I have had the most wonderful week on this little island. Beautifully exotic, Sea is fabulous. I spent my days in the sea, the snorkelling is great and the hotel takes us every morning ( No charge) if you want to see other snorkelling area around the island... The staff are super nice and kind people. The food is great. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, bare in mind that the internet and electricity in the island is limited. This place is worth the visit, the island is super cool. I will def go back again!

our experience from check-in to check out exceeded our expectations even though we’d read all the great reviews from previous visitors. On arrive we were met by the owner warm friendly informal checkin we were taken to our room right on the beach perfect tranquil views of the bay. Beautiful hotel. Very quiet and calm. Lovely pool to cool off in - not deep enough for proper swimming. Excellent food and wine. Great breakfast buffet. Gym.

This hotel is a true paradise. I cannot recommend highly enough. Everything and everyone were perfect and I will definitely be looking to return in the near future
