Pros:
- Very kind staff, they really seemed to care about their clients.
- 24/7 check in and services including WhatsApp communication in need of assistance.
- I mentionned to the staff what I had difficulties with (see cons about humidity) but they informed me that there wasn't much they could do to help and couldn't accommodate me with another room at that time. They did clean the room however which was appreciated even though it didn't feel dirty.
- Staying over at this hostel is actually pretty OK if youre staying for one night only, having in mind the cons. We weren't very lucky with our Machu Picchu tickets so we had to stay over for three nights.
Cons:
- We had a very humid room. Our hair, clothes, bed sheets and blankets were very damp and it felt cold and extremelyuncomfortable. The air was difficult to breathe at night as it was heavy with humidity. The building itself is overall open with no real way to dehumidify the room other than keeping the windows open.
- The city is very loud at night, our neighbors were pretty loud and screaming from the rooftop of the building as well, but this was acceptable in my opinion...
- There was a very loud compressor-type of noise going on and off every minutes or so, it made it very difficult to relax and fall asleep.
- The rooms windows are made in such a way that if your curtains are open people will be able to see you from the hallways, so keep that in mind for your privacy/intimacy purposes.
