"0 out of 10 reccomend. Thought it was an AmericInn, but obviously sold and rebranded as American Inn. Everything smelled musty and like moth balls. Mold/mildew around tub and sink. Stains on the bed linens. We drove 750 miles that day and were exhausted, so we were not prepared to find another hotel. My wife refused to put her clothes near the floor and we wore sandals the entire time. The bed was "okay' but we didn't sleep well. Only good thing was a functioning AC unit. Didn't even consider trying the free breakfast because we couldn't wait to leave and had zero faith in the cleanliness of food prep area."
