Wonderful stay! Such a great deal for a full ensuite with bathroom and double bed, plus TV, air conditioning, locking door and amenities like filtered cold and hot weather. I was given complimentary early check-in and was able to pay a nominal fee for late check-out since my room was not booked after me. Staff was super helpful and looked up other activities for me to do. The dive shop next door was wonderful for scuba. I will be back!
This place is for people who want a real local vibe. The rooms are simple but clean. For the price it’s an incredible deal. The captain’s view in front of the house is hard to beat. Paps is a retired tuna captain and it appears his family runs the place. He’s always out front chewing betel nut and keeping an eye on his water. Does not get more local than this. At the beginning of the main strip with all the restaurants and shops. Plenty parking for scooters. Breakfast Nextdoor while staring at the dark blue water. It’s hauntingly memorable.
