"Lovely location, quiet & secluded but only a short walk to the beach & restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious but some attention to detail needed. The bathroom sink had clearly been damaged and the repair was unsightly. The curtains did not meet in the middle and let in light. ..."

"Overall a very good stay, the reason for 4 out of 5 is due to the room. Nothing wrong from a cleanliness point of view, but the room was dated and could do with a bit of modernising. Understandable given the age of the place. Would recommend a stay here - ideal for all things Whitby"
