The hotel's ambiance is reminiscent of the last century, but also its drawbacks and lack of comfort. The rooms are very small. We had a room with a terrace, and this room had sloping ceilings covering over 80% of the room. The floorboards creaked . There's no soundproofing between rooms. You feel like your neighbor is walking around in your room. Same feeling for the shower and toilet. Breakfast is okay, no hot dishes. Friendly staff

We stayed one night. The room was small but the bed comfortable although it was against the wall so not so convenient to get out of. We had dinner in the restaurant as we had received a discount for food. The menu was a bit limited but ok. B'fast was good even if did not have a massive choice. The staff was friendly and the location is walking distance to the harbour and centre of town plus there are a few parking spaces.

If you need a good night of sleep, this might not

Stayed at this hotel for three days and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotels experience I have ever had. I was unable to sleep in the bed due to the bed and pillow being really uncomfortable, the hotel needs to upgrade them. The walls in the hotel is pretty thin with no noise insulation, if you end up with a neighbor who goes to the bathroom during the nights, that will make a lot of noises in your hotel room which will keep you awake or wake you up if you are lucky enough to get some sleep. The breakfast was basic without a lot of selection. Day 1: Due to condition of the bed and pillows I only managed to get 1 hour of sleep the entire night which was not ideal when you are going to work the next day. Day 2: Due to a flickering light, I got another room this night, while they was fixing the light. Day 3: Back to the hotel room from the first night.I ended up leaving for the airport in Gothenburg during the night as I couldn’t sleep anyway.Only managed to get 1.5 hours of sleep this night. Apart from not replacing the old towels the only positive thing during my stay was the friendly and helpful staff. For reference I have been staying at a various number of hotels in both Europe and Asia the last 19 weeks and this is by far the worst experience. I usually don’t write ratings good nor bad, but this one definitely deserved one, so that they can improve them self for the future. I myself will not be coming back to this hotel the next time I come to Lysekil.

Fantastisk lĂ€ge, nĂ„gra minuters gĂ„ngavstĂ„nd till bad, bĂ„de strand och klippbad. Mycket trevlig personal, bra service och ett fint pittoreskt hotell. Rumskategori litet Dubbelrum med 140 cm bred sĂ€ng, Ă€r nĂ„got i det mista laget för tvĂ„ personer/vuxna, men vi fick det att fungera genom att inte packa upp alltför mycket ur resvĂ€skorna. Rummet saknade luftkonditionering och blev vĂ€ldigt varmt Ă€ven om flĂ€kt fanns pĂ„ rummet, dock förstĂ„eligt nĂ€r det Ă€r en gammal byggnad. Överlag Ă€r vi mycket nöjda med vĂ„r vistelse och stannar gĂ€rna över igen vid framtida besök i Lysekil.

Ett alldeles underbart litet hotell med lÀge precis vid havet! Rummen Àr smÄ, det informeras man om redan vid bokning. Men det gör inget, mycket frÀscht, rent och bra planerat. SÄ charmigt och pittoreskt inrett! Personalen var leende och professionella rakt igenom. Frukosten var utmÀrkt med mÄnga möjligheter till sittplats bÄde inne i den vackra matsalen eller i den ljuvliga trÀdgÄrden i olika nivÄer. Maten pÄ restaurangen Àr av toppklass! BÀttre Àr svÄrt att hitta i Lysekil. Skulle kunna skriva Ànnu mer lovord. Kommer definitivt tillbaka!

Sjarmerende hotell med hyggelig betjening. Rommet var rent men litt lite, vÄrt vennepar bestilte ett stÞrre rom med veranda. Jeg vil anbefale det stÞrre rommet hvis man skal ha mer enn 1-2 overnattinger. Flott beliggenhet. Vi hadde middag pÄ hotellet, og bestilte fisk god smak men liten porsjon.

Vandrade lÀngs med den vackra vÀsterhavspromenaden till norra hamnen, in i Gamla stan, Ät en fin lunch, vidare mot södra hamnen bort mot Curmans villor, förbi mitt fina hotell och bort mot pinneviken och det fantastiska stÄngehuvud med sitt gamla fyrhus. Et veldig hyggelig sted

Et veldig hyggelig sted med veldig hyggelig betjening. Sentralt, men likevel litt unna sentrum, noe som var hyggeligsom fikk fÞlelsen av man bodde mer privat til. Vi hadde et stort, fint rom (rom 14) og elsket Ä ha et ekstra lite rom for Ä slappe av i pÄ ettermiddagen og kvelden. Herlig beliggenhet, rett ved sjÞen. Det eneste jeg skulle ha sett var litt anderledes var at man hadde flere retter Ä velge mellom i menyen i restauranten. Maten var kjempegod, men 3 retter + reker er noe lite, spesielt hvis man Þnsker Ä spise der mer enn en kveld. Skulle ogsÄ gjerne sett at det var pommes frites til burgeren heller enn potetgull :) Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold!

Hotel charmant
