"Situated in the heart of Cowes right on the High Street. We stayed here one night to attend a family party. It was perfect for 1 night, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Anchor is a lively, popular pub serving local beers and weekly live music. The room had some ear plugs provided but we didn't need them, a nice thought though."

"Plenty of parking. Good seating areas both inside and out. Enjoyed food and service very good. Just a 5 min walk into lyndhurst which had a good selection of shops and cafes."

"So nice to arrive, park at the hotel and check in with no effort. Check in desk helpful, the room was clean and bed comfy a perfect stop off for one night."

"Wonderful gem! We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around. I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!"

"The room was very clean and pleasant but could do with a bit of TLC but it didn't put us off.The location is fantastic,being right in the middle of the High ST.The staff were very helpful and fantastic as they had staff off while i stayed and as for the food,fantastic,loved the meals from the evening menu and the breakfast is superb as well with Nicky and the staff making it great.All in all well worth the money and i can't wait to return."
