Convenient hotel in Wittenberg
Our party of 9 enjoyed our stay. There was convenient parking, the rooms were spacious and the breakfast was the best we had on our trip. Would definitely stay again

Great location Door to hotel confusing, parking good, but trying to get back in to hotel with luggage was very poor, Would have been nice to have a printed map to show way to park, how to get back in to hotel with luggage. Need person to help with bags to room, there was a VERY long steep staircase(double number of stairs!) very difficult even for able bodies.AM staff very nice and helpful.

Almost impossible to find the parking as town centre closed for Christmas Market! Large impersonal guest house. Staff in restaurant were helpful (and in English!) reception spoke no English but were quick to provide extar pillow when asked. price was reasonable for Germany but cost for simple breakfast was expensive on top.

Our room was very clean and inviting. The two apples provided in the room was a very nice touch! Breakfast was exceptionally delicious! Staff spoke very good English. The hotel was attached to the Bauhaus and Restaurant which served very good food. The hotel is situated within walking distance to all the Martin Luther sites. Great place to stay.

The property is centrally located yet has parking. However, it has the challenges of an old building - no elevator, basic amenities, and a rabbit Warren of hallways. The restaurant was good enough.

I Booked for the Brauhaus, Got a Great Hotel, too!
Great hotel right in the middle of old town Wittenburg. Excellent German food, beer & wine in the attached restaurant (or Hot in nice weather). Free parking, too! Breakfast is well worth the €7 charge. Wi-Fi not great but workable for non-streaming use.

Great location, very comfortable.
Pros: Comfortable rooms, comfortable pillows, good sleep overall. Great location, steps from everything. Plenty of hot water for showers. (Note: Don't flush the toilet before a shower or you'll only have scalding hot water for like 3 minutes). Great customer service from front desk staff. Cons: I wish there were screens on the windows. Too hot to leave them closed. Too many bugs if you leave them open. Breakfast: Not included in Hotels.com rate, but they offered to reserve us a table at 7€ per person. Absolutely worth it. Great breakfast. Mix of French and German style breakfast. Great set up. Restaurant: Biergarten is beautiful, but the staff not so great. They might just dislike us as Americans, but we didn't get great service. The food was only okay. Beer was good, but it's Germany, so it's great everywhere. Tips: Wittenberg feels like a maze because of streets newly closed to vehicle traffic. Print yourself a map. Don't rely on GPS. The address is on Markt, but you can't drive there. Don't try. The “front” of the hotel is actually on Wallstraße. Park on that side. Hotel itself is kind of maze like too. Lool for “Rezeption” sign. They'll add a cot for a child, but rooms too small for more than 1 cot. We got a second room for our kids. Cheap enough and we were right next to each other. Luther history fans will love this hotel. Part of area owned by Cranach family in the 1500s.

Pleasant hotel right in the town centre
Room was in the roof space so on one half of the room the ceiling sloped - a bit disconcerting. Also as there was only one small window, it was somewhat dark. However, the breakfast was fine, the staff excellent, and the location superb.

The hotel location is perfect-right in the center of town and not a far walk from the train station (which is kind if your only option) My only real complaint would be that my room faced out into a courtyard that was so loud. because there was no ac (which is normal), you have to keep the windows open for any air so you pretty much never get any quiet time. staff was great and very friendly

Excellent hotel - with a bonus of being a brewery
First time stay at the Brauhaus. Small room but as I was on my own that wasn't a problem. Very clean, comfortable, good (European) breakfast. Dinner in the Brauhaus courtyard was excellent. Will be staying here each time I go to Wittenberg.

Charming Old World hotel between the two major Luther attractions in Wittenberg. The staff went out of their way to welcome us. I would definitely stay again

Great location, small room.
Our room was much smaller than any room pictured, I'm also an American and use to our over sized hotel rooms here, so keep that in mind. The shower was tiny, I'm a medium size guy and it was a tight fit. The layout of the hotel was kind of a maze to find the room, but that's to be expected with it being in an older building, just don't expect an elevator, there isn't one to my knowledge. Wifi didn't work at all once connected, so if you are planning on using that for work if your there outside of the US, don't hold your breath. Luckily we were just in town as tourists on vacation and didn't require access to internet. It was super easy to find in town, and the location is prime for visiting the city.

Great local beer and venison.
Wittenberg is special town and this hotel is right in the heart of the picturesque old city. The boys Christmas choir at Luther's church sounded angelic, their clear voices surrounding us, the accoustics flawless.

Prisvärt & över förväntan
Mycket trevlig personal, mysigt hotell med bra restaurang. De gör sin egen öl vilket var en kul grej. Mycket prisvärt överlag med parkering intill hotellet. Dock ingen ac på rummen och det var runt 30 grader dagen vi besökte hotellet så lite svårt att somna. Hiss finns ej så man får vara beredd på att släpa väskorna i trapporna. Frukosten som kostar 17 euro var bland det sämsta vi fått, inte rolig alls.

Genuine historical hotel in central Wittenberg
A historical hotel in the middle of Wittenberg, walking distance to the church door Martin Luther nailed his nighty-five theses. Breakfast was good, room clean, bed comfortable and the staff was friendly. The hotel’s best feature is the history and architecture. Would definitely stay again.
