Nice room with scenic view on the lake with balcony to enjoy the sun at the end of a long drive. Hotel is conveniently located near E39 but also quiet. Very clean. Breakfast was excellent with good choice of food. I definitely recommend."

"We loved our time at the Hjelle Hotel!! It was our favorite place in Norway. We only wished we had been able to stay longer. The location is absolutely beautiful. Nothing like looking out your window and seeing the beautiful lake and mountains. Lorenz and his staff were kind and welcoming hosts. We ate several meals at the hotel restaurant and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel! "
