"It’s hard to fault this place. This hotel has one of the best locations in Hanoi: directly facing the lake, plus the best of both worlds between the Old Town and the French Quarter. On arrival, you are met with a very warm welcome. No queueing up at a reception desk here. The staff come to meet you. I didn’t see the other rooms, but the junior suite was excellent. Elegant decor, large comfortable bed, and a small balcony with a view of trees and the lake. No walk-in shower though; my room had a deep bathtub. Breakfast is served on the top floor restaurant, with a good array of buffet choices as well as food cooked to order. There’s a panoramic view of the city too. Finally, if you want to end your day with a cocktail, there’s a small but attractive roof terrace bar. You can’t go wrong with this hotel. Just book it. "

"Rooms were spotless, breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety, and the staff was amazing. Location was perfect. I would like to mention Mia, Julie, Hue (Mr. Chicken ;-)), Eric, An, and Hue because they all made our stay wonderful. I loved Hanoi and when I go back, this is the only hotel I will stay in!"
