As noted elsewhere, the inability to check in before 4pm is absolutely true, and you won't even be let in the building either, so having flown overnight from Chicago with a tired and cold teenager, finding somewhere warm to hang out for a few hours was a drag. Much more important, the family room I booked varied hugely from the pictures on hotels.com. Instead of 2 beds at opposing angles across the room, affording some privacy, it was just 3 singles in a row side by side. Had I known I would certainly have saved (a lot of) money and just got a twin. Decor was tired, but the place was clean, and location was central and easy walk to train station.
I would not rate this hotel highly by US or UK standards, especially for the price.
