Loved our stay here. The pub below was lovely for hanging out at. Good food and great service. Location is a couple minutes from trains and bus stops. Wonderful location-close -very close to open air museum, beautiful church. Spent 3 nights and two days there and could have spent another couple of days there. Loved Lund and our accommodations. Paid extra for extra space- living room and bedroom- well worth it. Highly reccommend this place to call home while in Lund :)

It was a good hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that, when I stayed at the hotel, the reception was not open until 4pm and they could not accommodate my luggage.

I liked very good internet, location, breakfast very good in nice oldfashioned rooms. Nice with pub on the premises. Hand-held shower much appreciated. Many hotels do not have so it is hard to get the soap off your "bottom". Some minuses: No fridge in room, no kleenex box. Bathroom floor sloped a tiny bit from the shower area towards the sink toilet area so the floor became wet after shower. No sink stopper so I could not fill the sink with water to wash my socks. Door separating stairs/elevator from room corridor shut automatically with a big noise, very disturbing. Chair in work area too low and non-adjustable. Bathroom had almost no flat area (counters) for your things. No guest laundry, as is almost always available in the US.

Great hotel in center of Lund
My sister and I wanted a room centrally located in Lund. We had to add an extra night which required 2 reservations. The staff were very accommodating. Room was clean and breakfast was very good. The staff were professional and pleasant. I will stay here again on my next visit! Thanks!

Excellent, very clean, very comfortable, close to the rail station. Delicious breakfast. Close to University the open air museum Kulturen also shopping cafes restaurants. Lund is a must visit town.

Right in city centre. Very comfortable small room with great mattress and bathroom was well fitted and modern. Really good breakfast in dining room included in price. Just 3 minute walk from central trains station. There is no lobby or lounge - you to the busy bar to check-in. Staff were fast but distant and not one word like "welcome to our hotel". That was my only downside to an nice hotel and at good value.

Conveniently located. Within walking distance of a few blocks from the train station and the college. Although everything is walkable in Lund.

Great little hotel
Good location, we were far too early for check in, but they still let us store our suitcase so we could walk around the town. They were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and if we had known about the excellent pub downstairs, we would have researched a table. I would stay there again without a doubt!

The hotel is located in the middle of everything Lund has to offer. It's a beautiful hotel that sits on top of a pub. Great shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing all around - walking distance to EVERYTHING! My hotel room had an amazing view of the city that reminded me of a scene from Fiddler on the Roof. The staff is also wonderful. Check in was simple, everything was clean, and all staff members went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely stay here again. Wonderful hotel.

As noted elsewhere, the inability to check in before 4pm is absolutely true, and you won't even be let in the building either, so having flown overnight from Chicago with a tired and cold teenager, finding somewhere warm to hang out for a few hours was a drag. Much more important, the family room I booked varied hugely from the pictures on hotels.com. Instead of 2 beds at opposing angles across the room, affording some privacy, it was just 3 singles in a row side by side. Had I known I would certainly have saved (a lot of) money and just got a twin. Decor was tired, but the place was clean, and location was central and easy walk to train station. I would not rate this hotel highly by US or UK standards, especially for the price.

Great weekend stay in Lund.
Great location, nice big room, nice bathroom, clean. Excellent breakfast. Reception is located in the downstairs pub, a littlle crowded when bringing suitcases, but works fine. All in all, excellent value for money.

A very convenient stay
Extremely close proximity to the central train station meant that this hotel was ideally located for us to travel easily into Malmö for a day trip and also back to Copenhagen to catch our return flight. The breakfast included was decent enough and the room was clean and functional, complete with a kettle and tea and coffee. Air-conditioning was not available in the room and the street noise outside was quite loud when the windows were open, resulting in a disturbed night's sleep. We made good use of the pub restaurant where we had a couple of dinners, and the staff were very friendly.

We've stayed at the Bishops Arms many times over the years and have really enjoyed it. The only reason I gave it one tick off this trip is because it was very warm in Sweden and the hotel rooms are not air conditioned, so it was a bit warm at night. We'll definitely go back again though.

A great place to stay
Lund is a great place to be for an academic visit. It has culture and tradition as well as great science. I was attending a workshop and the organizers suggested bishops arms in addition to other hotels. I chose Bishops Arms and I was very glad I did. The stay started off weirdly but it continued to be a great one. I arrived on Sunday at around 2 pm but everything was closed and a sign on the door indicated that the check in would be in the bar which would open at 4 pm. Luckily the library was across the street and I went there and read a book while waiting for the bar to open. After that everything was just perfect. The hotel staff was very courteous and welcoming. The room and the hotel were clean. Shampoo, body lotion, conditioner and liquid soap were available in bulk and every day in the room hot chocolate, Nescafé and milk were continuously available. The breakfast buffet was the same every day but was excellent and very tasty. Overall it was a great stay.
