Great service, very laid back and relaxed while feeling upscale at the same time without any stuffiness whatsoever! I would definitely recommend staying here and would come back in a heartbeat! "My room was clean with a comfortable bed, a good shower over the bath, and a balcony with a view in the direction of the lake, but the soundproofing around the connecting door between my room and the next one was poor, and I could hear everything. The hotel has its own restaurant, and is close to many others. Easy parking, friendly staff and fast wifi. I made use of the laundry ($2 per wash and $3 for drying), and I also used the communal kitchen to make sandwiches to take out - it's very well-equipped, but I could only find one sharp cook's knife in the whole kitchen, which is a problem when more than one person is preparing food in there. I would probably stay here again next time I visit Wanaka."
